He knows he doesn't have all the time in the world to adapt, not if they're issuing death threats this early. That in itself is worrisome, but he doesn't want to be overtaken by fear. He has to focus, figure out what the hell is going on, and see if there is any way to track down the people he knows from his world, assuming they were 'recovered' as well.

He hadn't seen them anywhere during the earlier escapade nor has his phone been going off, but he doesn't have any service here anyway. It's unlikely he'll be able to call them any time soon, so he has to look for alternatives. Those people are his main priority at the moment. ]

I don't need any of that right now. I just want to know how I can find people if I have to. There has to be some kind of listing or maybe on that device they gave us... Can I use that?

[ There has to be at least an internet connection in this place with all the technology they have, so maybe he can just send them e-mails. It's better than nothing. ]

Would it reach all the way to Japan from here? What planet is this place even on?
