![]() Did you think the glitches were over? Boy, were you wrong! Through the last remnants of the digital kerfluffle, the latest batch of recovered code has manifested in CERES' computer systems as the guilty parties. Yes, that's right, all incoming arrivals are now placed on the wanted list, accused of having committed the heinous crime of creating and releasing the gorg0n virus all over Cerealia. These vicious twelve have been working together all along and conspiring against CERES, and it's now up to everyone to figure out if the new arrivals are truly guilty or if they are as innocent and confused as they claim. In the meantime, CERES has dispatched assassination droids to stop the accused and bring them to justice via disembowelment. So while CERES rushes to stop the droids from committing murder, characters are perfectly welcome to a.) soil themselves b.) fight off the droids c.) run while soiling themselves or d.) cry a lot. e.) ask for assistance!

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's arrival experience and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

Especially when said people are being attacked rather than just arrested. No that doesn't sit right with him at all. So it only takes him half a moment of seeing the ongoing attack to see about intervening.
He's not exactly a fighter, but he does have the long almost-shadowy looking scythe with him today, so he'll do his best, stepping close, trying to avoid the other guy's sword as he aims for the back of the droid's neck...ish...] Even if you've just arrived, they really seem convinced you're a dangerous criminal, don't they? That's sort of unfortunate. [He probably shouldn't be talking so casually. Oops.]
no subject
"Unfortunate" is an understatement! [Yeah uh he doesn't take being falsely accused of any crime very well.]
no subject
[But then again the trials he's used to always end in executions, so the line is thinner for him.
But he's conversing, even as he slashes his scythe against the droid's shoulder this time, aiming for the weaker points since he's swinging it one handed (braced with his handless arm) and not terribly talented at fighting to start with. But hey he's trying.]
no subject
[Y'know, like the right to life? Edgeworth sees what Komaeda is trying to do, and decides to perform a diversion. He feints to the left, sword at the ready, hopefully keeping the robot trained on him.]
no subject
[Komaeda hesitates only a moment as the other moves. Ah right good, then! A chance! He brings his scythe down as hard as he can manage, aiming for its leg this time, by sheer luck managing to strike somewhere that brings the point of his weapon slicing through the seam of metal and wires.]
no subject
[From the corner of his eye, he could see the scythe dig deep into the droid's leg. The robot is thrown off-balance by this new turn of events, which means its next strike is a little off and neatly blocked by Edgeworth. He drops to his knees and his foot shoots out to kick at the other metallic leg - a move that he never would have been able to pull off before his stint at Death City.]
Hmph. This isn't justice!
no subject
And then he laughs.] Considering that everyone arrives here by what amounts to really high-tech kidnapping, justice might be a little skewed in this place in general. Of course... they do frame it as rescue.
[But he is not buying it. Kidnap him once, shame on you. Kidnap him a second time... yeah that happened too and ended in animatronic bears and murder games. The third time was just plain insult and then, now here they are in this place and he's considering it kidnapped again.]
no subject
An investigation is in order once I have cleared my name.
no subject
More importantly though, this guy is speaking Komaeda's language.]
That's a great idea. This place is definitely something that should be investigated. I've been looking around as best I can. [It's a little more far-flung than investigating murders on the island, but it's all generally the same idea.]
no subject
And what have you found so far?
no subject
[Helpful, right?] Everything seems really tied up with all the technology here. All the robots, even those little robot pets... they're definitely all connected I think, somehow.
And that virtual reality game, ViViD. That's more than it seems too, I think. [He is, however, suspicious of virtual realities by default.]
But mostly we're left to our own devices. Oh! Speaking of devices, they gave us all a little one that we can use to talk to each other over a network. I'm positive they use it to keep an eye on us, listen into our conversations. Maybe all the robots and such are too. [Komaeda has not yet learned about ocular implants.]
no subject
Yes, I know of the video game [Seriously? A video game? Virtual reality and all that jazz? That's a new way to welcome someone to a new world.] and the device that connects to the network. I have yet to further examine the latter, however. [Because he was too busy trying not to get sliced into chopped prosecutor slivers.]
no subject
[He considers though.] It really does make me wonder. Are they seeing you and the others as a threat?
[He's really not buying "oops an accident" though. Not by a long shot.] Well you've been busy, I'm sure. Trying to stay alive can dot hat.
no subject
Still, is that enough to send a droid after him?]
Are we truly threats, to begin with? If they have this sort of technology at their disposal, a handful of newcomers should not pose any danger.
no subject
[Even if that reason is some experiment or their own amusement.] You do have a good point. All this seems really advanced and futuristic. To met at least.
Other people are from different times though.
no subject
[Edgeworth also sees all this as really advanced and futuristic, so you're not alone, Komaeda. And this applies to both the worlds he's been to.]
no subject
There have been a few bears though. [The one he knew was part of a vr simulation, but he's aware of the more animatronic versions too.]
no subject
...Bears?
no subject
[That explains it a lot better, right? It totally does.] Or well, one particular bear really. Monokuma. He caused quite a bit of trouble.
