![]() Did you think the glitches were over? Boy, were you wrong! Through the last remnants of the digital kerfluffle, the latest batch of recovered code has manifested in CERES' computer systems as the guilty parties. Yes, that's right, all incoming arrivals are now placed on the wanted list, accused of having committed the heinous crime of creating and releasing the gorg0n virus all over Cerealia. These vicious twelve have been working together all along and conspiring against CERES, and it's now up to everyone to figure out if the new arrivals are truly guilty or if they are as innocent and confused as they claim. In the meantime, CERES has dispatched assassination droids to stop the accused and bring them to justice via disembowelment. So while CERES rushes to stop the droids from committing murder, characters are perfectly welcome to a.) soil themselves b.) fight off the droids c.) run while soiling themselves or d.) cry a lot. e.) ask for assistance!

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's arrival experience and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

[Is that comforting? That's probably not comforting. Komaeda watches as this guy sets the robot to tumbling with its own momentum. Huh. Not bad at all. He steps closer, his crowbar held in his hand like that's going to totally help.]
So you're definitely saying they're false then, all those accusations? No shred of truth in them at all?
no subject
Sousei just gives him a flat look, before he responds quite honestly--]
I have not committed a crime. I cannot speak for the others, but I suspect that those accusations are equally false.
[The robot gets up. Sousei smacks it back down with his sheathed sword, expression unchanging even as it clangs to the ground.]
no subject
But luckily he seems to decide that this guy has the robot handled, so he can stick with conversations.]
It wouldn't be surprising. That sort of glitch would be in line with other glitches that have been happening. [In that it's a glitch. It's a little more serious than, say, spam advertisements for robot sex.]
So it's probably just a matter of getting whoever is in charge to change it in their systems. Though that may be easier said than done.
no subject
...Then you think it is accidental.
[Look, he's from the 1800's, glitches are foreign to him. The robot doesn't seem to be moving, though Sousei eyes it rather warily.]
no subject
Well... I'm not actually optimistic enough to call it that. It could be sabotage or an intentional "mistake" by the people running this place. I don't really believe much of what they have to say.
[Komaeda rattles all this off cheerfully enough though.] Their story is too convenient for getting us to help them out, don't you think? ...ah! Did they tell you about it, I wonder?
no subject
Considering their current greeting, I am not truly prepared to believe everything they have told us.
[Because assholes who lie probably are lying more.]

[Komaeda is extra paranoid after the island and his stint in Haven, so he may have a particularly unkind view of this place.]
So since you've already figured that out, I'm sure you'll be fine. ...well. Once the robots stop trying to kill you.
[Minor detail.] Do you need somewhere to hide, I wonder? [He can help with that! Probably maybe without something going terribly wrong.]
no subject
Sousei does glance Komaeda's way at that, before shaking his head shortly.]
I have no intentions of hiding. If the... robots intend to attack me, then they will sorely regret underestimating me.
It will keep them from attacking the others.
no subject
[Komaeda nods.] If you're capable of defending yourself, then you definitely would do more good... though I guess that means you're a little like bait. But it'll be helpful for anyone who isn't good at fighting.
Aah this really is a mess. I wonder if death is really permanent here.
no subject
... ... ...pause. What.]
... Do you have reason to believe it wouldn't be? [He's been trying so hard to keep up but...death not being permanent???]
no subject
Hmm? Well, I haven't seen it put to the test yet, but in the place I was before, death was temporary. People revived and reappeared a few days later, usually with a few scars, but alive.
I'm still not convinced this place and that aren't connected.
no subject
... ... ... or maybe he can, and this is a whole new version of insanity that Sousei has fallen into, but regardless, he doesn't have the time to process that now.]
I see. What was the place you were in before called?
no subject
[He winces at the irony of it before his shoulders heave in a little sigh.] I'm sure they named it that on purpose. It was the furthest thing from a safe haven you could find though.
In that respect,t his place is much much nicer. [Even if it's probably a trap.] Well. When the robots aren't trying to kill us anyway.
no subject
... [NICER??? okay sure, he's...not even going to question it at this point. It's not worth it. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.]
I see. What matters now is the current situation first and foremost, and the rest when it has settled.
no subject
Ah! How practical! But you're right, I'm sure. First things first.
[Stop the killer robots accusing newcomers without proof.]
no subject
In other words, Sousei is going to turn on his heel and start walking. He's not accomplishing anything standing around, after all. KOMAEDA IS WELCOME TO COME IF HE PLEASES but Sousei's not going to extend an invitation.]
