Welcome to the CERES! You are now under arrest!

Did you think the glitches were over? Boy, were you wrong! Through the last remnants of the digital kerfluffle, the latest batch of recovered code has manifested in CERES' computer systems as the guilty parties. Yes, that's right, all incoming arrivals are now placed on the wanted list, accused of having committed the heinous crime of creating and releasing the gorg0n virus all over Cerealia. These vicious twelve have been working together all along and conspiring against CERES, and it's now up to everyone to figure out if the new arrivals are truly guilty or if they are as innocent and confused as they claim.

In the meantime, CERES has dispatched assassination droids to stop the accused and bring them to justice via disembowelment. So while CERES rushes to stop the droids from committing murder, characters are perfectly welcome to a.) soil themselves b.) fight off the droids c.) run while soiling themselves or d.) cry a lot. e.) ask for assistance!

PHASE I

[ 0001 ] It's a minute passed midnight, and the newest sets of recovered code are being spat out of ViViD and into Cerealia. Before the joyful reunions begin, an announcement starts blaring through everyone's computer screen, TV sets, devices, billboard screens, and so on. The image flashes with twelve names and twelve pictures along with a list of crimes each person has committed. They continue to flash again and again throughout the colony, alerting everyone of these heinous criminals. It's up to anyone if they want to engage them or stay far, far away from these perverts and miscreants.

As the arrivals begin to explore, they will see themselves plastered on just about every screen imaginable.

PHASE II

[ 200 ] It's still dark outside, hardly anyone out and about. It's the perfect time for an assassination attempt because that's when the information is received and processed by Cerealia's judicial system, but this isn't a job for any ordinary donut-eating cop. No, this is far greater than that. They bring out the big guns.

Twelve assassination droids, clad in armor and carrying katana, are immediately dispatched and sent to take out each of the accused at any cost. Characters are welcome to do any of the above choices while veterans to Cerealia can assist the arrivals, assist the droids, or just sit back and watch others suffer. It's completely up to you. They can also run into the droids on their search and try to interact with them.

PHASE III

[ 700 ] Your friendly CEO has finally gotten his ass out of bed, but by then, who knows how many people are left alive? After hearing of the kerfluffle, he decides to issue a cease and desist on the assassination droids, and instead, has his investigation units step in to confirm that the new arrivals are not guilty of any of the crimes and charges listed under their name. They will be pulled aside for painful, painful questioning before being released to explore as they wish.

To make up for all the damages and trauma incurred from the near-death attempts, Julius will also be giving the new arrivals a settlement of 20,000 credits each, so go out and party.

PHASE IV

[ 1200 ] By noon, the incident has been cleared up with little to no blood spilled (hopefully). New arrivals are welcome to explore and enjoy their new living arrangements or possibly lie in bed and just cry some more. Either way, welcome to the magic that is Cerealia. The CEO will announce that the last of the virus has been officially cleaned up and taken care of, and he'll be issuing a video with a public apology for all.

BONUS

[ whyo'clock ] Among the police droids dispatched, there will be a rehabilitative droid in a dinosaur suit, looking to cure the criminals of their improper behavior and their moral indiscretions through the power of LOVE and HUGS. It was developed after the researchers in CERES did extensive research on other worlds and found that this mystical creature was capable of creating worldwide joy and cheer. It will be chasing those who are on the Wanted List exclusively, but it will not stop at just them. Your character will be accosted and hugged whether they like it or not.

[A sheepish laugh.] It will probably be disappointing. Someone like me can't possibly manage an interesting story. But it's just that this place isn't the first time I've been kidnapped. And the last two places were really terrible. A lot of people died or were hurt quite badly.

And how'd you escape? Why did they even kidnap you in the first place?

Mm... the first time it was a serial killer, so I guess his reasons were probably unpleasant. He tied me up in a bag, but I was rescued. That kidnapping time wasn't so bad though! I even found a winning lottery ticket, so it was mostly good luck--

[Wait. He's on a tangent.] The second time it's complicated to explain. We were brought to an island to work things out, but the field trip got hijacked and instead we were told we had to murder each other if we ever have to leave. Ah... that one I didn't escape. I died. Though maybe not all the way.

[He may be aware how crazy he sounds.] The third time, I have no idea why, but a group called the Yao Corporation kidnapped a lot of people and trapped us in a place called Haven. Terrible things happened to people there, all the time. But... I only escaped that place by winding up here instead.

[And thaaaaaaat's his story. Makes total sense, right?]

[ Yep, this sounds about as crazy as... one of her professors, so Yang can't even say she doesn't believe him. Except for one part, and here she holds up her hand. ]

Okay, I hate to keep rewinding you like this, but could you maybe talk about how you're not all the way dead?

[Only scratching the surface of his supply of crazy he hasn't even mentioned animatronic bears or anything.]

Oh! Well it turned out the island was a really advanced virtual reality. So while I died in that virtual reality, in the real world I just wound up in a coma that I might never wake from.

[Not dead yet! He's getting better!]

That's... not much better, is it?

Of course it is. At least that way there's a sliver of hope, isn't there? And that makes all the difference.

[He nods to himself at that.] Besides, I'm sure that Hinata-kun is really determined to make sure all of us wake up again no matter what. If anyone can manage it, it's definitely him.

Hinata... huh? Porcupine?

[ Yang, no, don't call him that. ]

Porcu...pine?

[What? What is this? Is it a previously unknown nicnkame? A pet name? What is going on?]

His hair looks like a porcupine. It's sort of cute.

[Let him process this mental image for a moment. He blinks again before ducking his head, trying to swallow back a laugh.] I hadn't thought of it that way.

[But he's totally going to mention this to Hinata just to see his reaction. He imagines it'll be great.]

Really? Give his hair a good long look next time, you'll see it.

I will, but I can picture it pretty well. There's this piece that... [He lifts a hand to wiggle a finger atop his head to mime Hinata's ahoge (though he has one of his own he shouldn't talk)]

Either way, I think it really suits him either way.

Doesn't it? I hope the nickname spreads so he can appreciate it!

I think he might scold me if I use it too often. Hajime-kun can be a little strict like that. [Seriously. Hinata never lets him have any fun. ...except he actually gets away with way too much because Hinata is far too forgiving for his own good.]

... Strict? [ hold on, she's trying to picture this. ]

That's right. Very strict. [Here. Hang on let him do his best Hinata impression. He squares his shoulders and holds up a hand, pointing in a very "sore wa chigau yo" pose.]

'Stop putting that sheep right in front of me when I'm sleeping! And stop calling it Baajime! That's not even a name and it's embarrassing!'

[And then back to smiling.] Like that.

[ sorry, she's cracking up. ]

[Komaeda's smile just widens.] It's not the best impression, but you get the basic gist at least.

Extra? [...oh he's totally getting scolded for this too if Hinata ever finds out. Oops! Oh well. He'll worry about it then.]

Baajime, was it?

Oh! Mm! Baajime, but that's his namesake more than a nickname. Baajime is my stuffed sheep. [Named after Hinata, much to Hinata's chagrin which is what makes it fun.]
