![]() Did you think the glitches were over? Boy, were you wrong! Through the last remnants of the digital kerfluffle, the latest batch of recovered code has manifested in CERES' computer systems as the guilty parties. Yes, that's right, all incoming arrivals are now placed on the wanted list, accused of having committed the heinous crime of creating and releasing the gorg0n virus all over Cerealia. These vicious twelve have been working together all along and conspiring against CERES, and it's now up to everyone to figure out if the new arrivals are truly guilty or if they are as innocent and confused as they claim. In the meantime, CERES has dispatched assassination droids to stop the accused and bring them to justice via disembowelment. So while CERES rushes to stop the droids from committing murder, characters are perfectly welcome to a.) soil themselves b.) fight off the droids c.) run while soiling themselves or d.) cry a lot. e.) ask for assistance!

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's arrival experience and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |
iv.
[ It's abrupt, coming from above—because there's one Supergirl floating down from the sky towards him. ]
I saw you on the screens. [ Awkward... ] What a welcome, huh?
no subject
Well, maybe he should stop classifying things for now.
It's not like it's making any difference anyway, and she seems polite enough. In response to her bringing up those screens, he just blinks once, placidly. No, he's not bothered by the accusations. He's heard worse (presumably. Still not sure what a vending machine is.)]
I have heard that this is unusual. [A huff, faint and irritated.] It was not a problem for myself, but there are others who didn't look as though they could defend themselves.
[It's tough to make an accurate judgement based solely on the pictures, but...some of them looked like kids, okay.]
no subject
[ She comes down low enough to just barely scrape the toes of her boots along the ground, crossing her arms with a thoughtful look. ]
I'm going around asking people if they need help with anything, because of today. You seem to have yourself covered, though.
no subject
I am fine myself. I intend to also see to the safety of the others.
[Mostly because he can't quite shake the need to, when people are getting attacked by assassinbots when they haven't even done anything wrong.]
...You likely will be able to find them more quickly, however. You should search for the youngest.
[There's no way that tiny little girl was a) a criminal and b) capable of defending herself from assassinbots.]
no subject
[ Her tone can't get any more incredulous if she tried. Seriously. She knows of lots of villains who can appear as kids, but that was just unbelievable. ]
no subject
[His tone is as even as ever, but...well, he agrees with her incredulity, which he shows in a different way, namely by being as calm and logical as ever.
What a party pooper.]
That they have accused each of us of a crime without evidence makes it suspect enough, even before taking into account her age.
[So yeah no. Just no.]
no subject
Did they do anything for you, after all of that hassle?
[ She'll punch them if they didn't at least apologise. ]
no subject
Still, his eyes narrow, and there's some distinct disgust in his tone at this.]
They attempted to offer monetary compensation.
[aka they tried to buy him off, as far as he's concerned, and that's pretty irritating and offensive.]
no subject
[ WHAT A DESPICABLE THING TO DO, THOSE BASTARDS. Money is great but Kara's used to not worrying about it because she lived with someone back home and didn't... really eat much... or sleep much... so she just has the notion that people are obsessed with money. ]
Well, I'm sorry you had to go through that.
no subject
...You do not need to apologize. It was not your ineptitude or malice that led to this situation.
[He doesn't much see the point in taking responsibility when they're obviously this dumb.]
Your assistance on the other's behalf has been appreciated. [He probably couldn't have saved everyone, especially on unfamiliar terrain.]
no subject
[ And she pauses, smiling. ]
That's just what I do.
no subject
...Well, he could always ask, probably.]
I see. [But first, politeness.] My name is Abe no Sousei. [though it's...probably obvious from the billboards and televisions WHATEVER, HE DOESN'T CARE.]
no subject
[ She's still not aware that most people here haven't heard of superheroes with names like that.
Whatever!! ]
no subject
Supergirl, then. The pleasure is mine.
[He can be polite, at least--though then he nods.]
I won't take up more of your time, then.
no subject
no subject
It's appreciated.
[For now, he'll head on out to explore the city more, now that he has the time--but he'll remember this for certain.]
