Everything had typically started out all right, at least until someone had gotten a little too…grabby at his latest customer.

Business has been a lot slower here than back at home, since he hasn't much of a reputation to begin with (and the number of less disreputable men within the vicinity is generally higher than in the Old Resident District).

He'd already begun on another customer, who was sitting pretty at the folding chair he'd brought, out on the sidewalk near some busy shops that guaranteed plenty of traffic—and plenty of onlookers—for his business. Despite the fact that the whole world as he knew it was long gone, he still thought it fit to carry on as he always had, simply because he had nothing better to do, either.

Someone else had seemed to be in the same mind, when he'd seen some punk break away from crowd to immediately back his previous customer into a wall, never mind that everyone could see them. Especially Koujaku, who never could stand seeing a woman in peril.

He'd excused himself to the lady at her seat, tapped the rather large punk on the shoulder with a "Hey" thrown in for good measure, and upon the man's disregard and the woman's mounting distress, Koujaku had yanked the punk backward by the shoulder and punched nearly all the lights out of him.

Which brings them to…here. The woman flees the ensuing fracas to find the proper authorities, while the guy grapples with Koujaku against the crowd, which flows hither and tither as either of the two combatants draw closer to their boundary, locked in a ring of conflict out of sheer morbid fascination.
