[ Once everyone arrives at the agreed meeting area, the CERES Metro-rail Station at the Residential District, Yata briefs the group on what to do. As discussed in the citywide meeting yesterday, the group will split into six teams that were decided by drawing lots. Everyone should know who they're teamed up with by now. Yata's instructions are simple enough: don't work alone (buddy system!), and if anyone finds anything, report to him. Should the missing arrivals be found, don't wait on anyone's orders. Yata admits that he's not smart enough to call the shots, but if he found who they were looking for, he believes that taking action should be the team's first priority. Anyone is free to protest, but he won't go back on his word.

Then he makes a special shout out to Hiccup and Toothless because look look guys it's a dragon how cool is that okay back to business.

By 9:15 AM, all teams should be on the move! ]

[Those are some awkward seconds. His eyebrows drift up uncertainly, and he opens his mouth briefly, as if wondering if she expected him to add on something else, but then he claps it shut when she talks.]

Yosh! I'll report it to you right away! [He salutes and then he runs off into some direction.]

[The idea of the nine heads arguing with each other is clearly not one that's ever occurred to her. Really, for as much as she likes the idea of dragons from legend, it's pretty difficult to think of them as real creatures!

Though it's much easier to think about when there's one staring her right in the face like this.

She gives Hiccup a second glance as if to confirm that yes, yes she is allowed to pet his dragon, before raising one hand and letting it hover right in front of Toothless's nose. It's easy to be direct and stern with normal things, but this... this is a dragon. The only thing that could possibly make this better is if it were some kind of... fluffy dragon.

But alright, petting. Right. She can handle this. Her fierce nature and startling intensity usually scares away small cute animals, so she tries to smile as much as she can to look as non-threatening as possible.

It doesn't work. Not even a little. She really should know better than to try to force a smile when it doesn't come naturally, but she really wants this to go well. So with that extremely intense, terrifying smile, she tries to gently rest her palm on Toothless's nose.]

Hope's Peak is intended to be that kind of school, yes. Those who are top in their respective fields are chosen to attend... and it was said that graduates from that academy were guaranteed success in life.

[It's said almost remotely, as she skips right over the bit about it being irresponsible and just focuses on trying to explain the school itself.]

In any case, Hope's Peak is irrelevant here. If you are concerned for your safety, I can assure you that young master Fuyuhiko will not harm you unless you cross him.

[--Oops. There's a momentary flash of uncertainty because, while she hasn't exactly been trying to hide her connection to Kuzuryuu, she hasn't been using his title in so many words. It just kind of slipped out...]

Martial arts is way more advanced than just my plain punching and kicking, isn't it? [Mind, he has demonic strength and a slew of other abilities on his side, but he's never been trained to fight.]

[Edgeworth has no qualms with where they were searching; he is simply focused on the mission, that's all. On one hand, a smaller group would not have many problems coordinating. On the other, they wouldn't be able to cover much ground unless they split up, and even then they wouldn't be able to work as quickly as the others. Plus, knowing what CERES was always up to, running around alone might not be a good idea in case there were some nasty surprises waiting under the serenity of these past several - and mundane - days.

Inside, he's surprised; because he could sense the same. His body is attuned to darker emotions, fear, sadness, pain or panic by merit of what it is that he's sure he would've been able to pick up on something.]

[How is that-- but there're a lot of things that he's found should be impossible but aren't. If he can sense emotions, why should it be strange a human from another world could hear someone's heart?

Still, he watches her and something in him wants to ask her isn't that difficult? but he refrains.]
