[ Once everyone arrives at the agreed meeting area, the CERES Metro-rail Station at the Residential District, Yata briefs the group on what to do. As discussed in the citywide meeting yesterday, the group will split into six teams that were decided by drawing lots. Everyone should know who they're teamed up with by now. Yata's instructions are simple enough: don't work alone (buddy system!), and if anyone finds anything, report to him. Should the missing arrivals be found, don't wait on anyone's orders. Yata admits that he's not smart enough to call the shots, but if he found who they were looking for, he believes that taking action should be the team's first priority. Anyone is free to protest, but he won't go back on his word.

[ It's getting late, the sun is down and that's when the entertainment district truly begins to thrive. The main streets are bustling with happy strangers and bright lights, but the back streets are where you'll find the people who run most of this district. Among thugs, drug dealers and corrupt officials, Ryuko is just marching through the dark alleys as if she feels right at home. ]
Alright, now we can start this damn search. Why the hell did he make us catch the train so early?!

[ Ryuko is driving around on a sushi delivery scooter that she appears to have... borrowed. This time, she is driving out in the open streets, where she doesn't look completely out of place. She plans to cover the whole district while on the vehicle, figuring it would be faster this way. If you're nearby, she'll offer you a ride! ]

[ Ryuko can be seen arguing with a large bouncer outside of a seedy nightclub. The only reason she wants to get inside is to gather some intel, get some drunk men to reveal important details, things like that, however... it appears that 17 is too young for a place like that. Who knew? ]

[ Sure, they're all here to meet up and get on with exploring. Killua's not entirely convinced they're going to find anything — seriously, this would have to be a pretty crappy conspiracy plot if it was that easy — but he's here anyway. It's not like Yata can be counted on to keep a low profile by himself, after all.
He seems a lot more interested in the candy stall near their meeting place than in actually getting on with the search, though. ]

[ The entertainment district is full of people who fall into the category of "not very nice." Somehow, Killua's managed to find a small army of them, and they're all clustered around him, looming and sporting an assortment of not-quite hidden weaponry. At first, easily mistaken glance, the tableau is all sorts of threatening.
Killua, though, seems entirely relaxed, hands in his pocket as he slouches, looking bored by the whole thing as the gang of thugs... wait, are they trying to recruit him?? He sighs, put-upon. ]

[ So part of this (obviously going to be a) failed endeavor is dutifully checking all the seedy gathering spots in the district, right? And Killua's agreed to come along on this farce, mostly as an excuse to poke his nose where it doesn't belong since he's bored, and that means he has to actually go on and peek in on things.
Too bad the security at Niteo isn't too keen on letting a thirteen year old in to take a quick look. Luckily, Killua's good at thinking quick on his feet, and he smiles up at the bouncer with his best innocent, totally trustworthy youth expression. ]

[Apparently Team Tech somehow attracted several buzzkills – Shun certainly isn't about to look anything beyond utterly irritated by this whole affair either. How did he end up get dragged into this in first place; it's a mystery maybe even to him. He doesn't have anyone he has any interest in 'rescuing' from CERES after all – the only person taken he actually can claim to know is the Academia brat and well.
The brat's whereabouts and well-being are the least of Shun's concern.
Given the buildings located in the District he has been shuffled into, he figures there might be the chance of finding something at least. In any case, he does have his duel disk out and fastened to his left arm, even if it isn't activated just yet.
He doesn't really expect to get any trouble just yet – not until he initiates it himself – but he definitely feels safer with it.]

[At some point Shun has disregarded the "buddy system" – he recognizes the merits of it; Resistance likes to work similarly after all, but there is no one in this dimension he would even remotely trust with his back – in favor of somehow climbing up on a roof that offers him a good view on the Government Center and the Research Tower, frowning faintly as he attempts to scan both of them with the scope of his duel disk, picking up on movements and heat signatures near the windows. If there is anyone – or anything – of interest to be found here... it's probably in either of those two buildings, he thinks.
The security of latter building is tight, he admits – tighter than even that of LDS had been during the weeks of his assault on them – and that while they do not seem to be facing any apparent threat, aside of alien forces of questionable existence.
He steps onto the edge of the roof (most likely fairly visible now from both above and bellow) as he tries to get a better view of the entrance security. If he declares himself an enemy of this company, he can't be quite as careless about it as he had been in Standard after all.

[ In all fairness, Rin Tohsaka didn't want to be here. Her services were better for the tech district--she insisted at the time--but fair's fair. Her draw, her responsibility. Once her fate/ had been sealed, she had no choice but to drag Shirou Emiya as well as Saber with her. While she's a bit pleased to not be alone, she was... in the company of a knight who thrived off of chivalry and an idiot. It might be time to make new friends.

they're about to enter another one of the stores to check for ~people~ (this is starting to seem like a really bad shopping trip), but toothless is kind of tired of being told to wait outside. cue the dragon trying to fit into the door. key word, trying. cue getting stuck, and hiccup has to turn back with the most "oh my god" expression. ]

[ Having gone looking through shops with a sharp eye, Saber can't help but pick something up, interested in it's use. It's shaped like a sword, though the blade is a circular shaft with a bulbous head on the end, and when she holds it...it buzzes loudly.
Please explain to King Arthur that she's holding a sex toy? Or at least tell her to put it down, given in her hands it's probably incredibly powerful. ]

[ Of course she had to get the worst district and one of the worst people to be with (not that she's naming names) but she can roll with this. If she's going to be in the area, however, she's going prepared.
And by "prepared", she's managed to bring a harisen - which, is, essentially, a paper fan, ready to hit anyone if they tried anything; not that she's expecting anyone to, keeping in mind that she decided to go with something more dressy, if only so nobody would flirt with her. Most of her body's covered, so she should be alright. She's even brought those classy sunglasses to cover her eyes and a pair of headphones to cover her ears.
If you're trying to talk to her, it's not going to be easy, considering that she's trying to keep a tight lip, but it's not going to be too difficult to talk to her; she's not actually listening to music. Luck just wasn't on here side today, keeping in consideration the fact that she honestly didn't believe that they would find anything, or anybody.
Inaba finds herself a little distracted every now and again, however... She seems to be glancing at her phone every now and again, scrolling through various things. Along with taking pictures of the district as evidence. Might come in handy, you know. ]

[ She's 100% sure at this point that there aren't any newcomers - in fact, she doubted it from the very beginning after receiving the list from Hajime during the meeting. But she might as well check out the district, seeing as it's her actual first time going here.
Which is why she's going shopping. Usually she wouldn't, especially in the company of others, but hey, curiosity killed the cat, and she's not leaving until she checks every nook and cranny of this area. Maybe with some souvenirs. She may or may not be out of a store with a large white dakimakura... ]

[ Feel free to bother her whenever; she's not doing much anyway besides actually peering around the district carefully. She won't be doing anything too crazy, but she might take shots at others if they do something stupid. ]
