[Naoki's starting to learn a few things about Yang the longer that he spends time with her. One of these things is that she seems to remember well even the things he thinks she says completely jokingly-- like how they talked about coaxing bellyrubs from one of his demons. How she's going to do that, he's not sure, but hey, there can't be any harm in letting her give it a shot if she's even a bit serious. Especially since he's here in case Yurlungur gets any ideas of trying to eat any magatsuhi.

Tearing his curious gaze away from the outfit she's switched to today, he props his hand on his hip.]

Since you dressed up and all, I could let you try it out. Buuuut, it's not too late to call it off either. [And they can get on to training! He looks again at her clothes, secretly admiring (where he's sure Yurlungur won't). It's different and fresh and er anyway back on track he's completely focused on the topic on hand.]

[He'll start walking when she does; hey, she needs to lead the way.]

[ She'll take the lead! ]

... And to think, you would've missed out on all this excitement if I hadn't persuaded you to train with me.

[He wanders his way up to walk next to and a little behind her, so that he can glance over at her face.]

Ah, well... I'll admit it, you're right there. My days woulda been much quieter.

[flaredo]

You're kind of a quiet guy, though. Did you want those days?

[masakados]

[That makes Naoki fall into a thoughtful quiet, gazing off. Did he? It doesn't take him a minute before he's laughing, though, and picking up his step to catch her arm with his.]

I still get those days when you and me aren't hanging out. I'm not gonna complain over having both kinds.

[flaredo]

[ Suddenly, an arm taken captive! Which Yang hardly minds, and she instead shakes her head with a laugh of her own. ]

Good answer!

[masakados]

Yeah, I thought so too.

[He seems pretty pleased with himself.]

[flaredo]

And still so modest. [ Still teasing, but she's content to meander the rest of the block now. ]

[masakados]

What can I say, you bring it out in me. [He's meandering right along with her... He's kinda curious to see where she lives.]

[flaredo]

[ Just a typical apartment building, nothing too terribly fancy, but she stops in front of it and gestures to it with a flourish. ]

Ta-dah!

[masakados]

Your castle, Yang?

[But he's smiling as he looks toward it, tipping his head after a moment to indicate the road.] Mine's down that way a little further.

[flaredo]

So you're not too far! [ As she follows his gaze, nodding approvingly. She's got to get her arm free, which she will, but-- ] Good to know.

[masakados]

If you're ever planning on visiting, text me first or it'll be a mess.

[But he himself will untangle their arms, giving her shoulder a playful knock with the back of his hand after he does.]

[flaredo]

I don't mind messes, trust me. I do have a little sister.

[ And she grins, turning to get the door open. ] But I'll see you later, Naoki.

[masakados]

[He turns with a light wave, his other hand sticking in his pocket.]
