Who: Ada Vessalius and Gilbert Nightray
When: 11/27
Where: Gilbert's place
What: Ada's realized she's been here some time, but she'd yet to properly sit and talk with Gilbert. Wanting to fix that, she decides to pay him a visit.
Rating/Warning: G/None, just Ada being an adorable worrier
It was no one's fault - Ada had learned quickly that being here meant having a great deal to do and facing no small amount of problems. Even though it didn't feel like she'd been here terribly long, the truth was that time was starting to get away from her. Admittedly, she'd been distracted for some time by her own troubles.
But today, she was putting all those things behind her and making time to visit Gilbert. She's ashamed of the fact that she hasn't been able to sit with him properly yet. After all, he's always been like a brother to her, almost as much as Oz himself. And... it wasn't as if she'd never considered the possibility that one day they might be able to bring their families together. At that time, he'd no longer be just 'like' a brother. He would be a brother to her.
To apologize, she carried with her a small gift in front of her, gently clutched between her hands; only releasing it with one long enough to politely knock. It had a nice aroma, though it was difficult to identify.
Her heart flutters nervously. It was still a little embarrassing facing him, when she'd been unable to admit her relationship with Vincent, and she didn't actually give him notice, so... there was no guarantee that he'd be home. But she had to try anyway. So she took a deep breath and waited.
