Maybe that's why Mireu still treats everything like one big joke, because none of his dear friends from back home are here with him to enjoy the destruction of their world. Something, by the way, that he hasn't really accepted as having happened. He's willing to believe what's happening immediately around him is real enough, he might even be willing to believe he's not on his world (given some of the things he's seen, it's hard not to), but he's not quite ready to believe everything he sees here.

Like the creatures in the mirror, for example. Not his idea of fun, but not something he's taking as seriously as he probably should.

And whether Haru meant to accuse him or not, Mireu's still flashing a wide, toothy grin as he spreads his arms out like he's a ringmaster at a circus, presenting the whole event to the audience. ]
