![]() It's been a whole month without any new arrivals. Who knows why? If you ask CERES, they won't bother with any in-depth explanations. They will simply claim that none of the code out there has been responding to their recovery methods, so they had to rework a lot of their technology. However, after several weeks of grueling work, they have finally experienced success! A fresh new batch of faces is coming in, and to celebrate their arrival and the real upcoming holidays, CEO Julius Vincere has arranged for a Christmas-themed carnival for all to enjoy. Those who arrive will wake up in Cerealia and be given a long, boring explanation and powerpoint as per usual before being ushered onto a bus (there is no escape. The robots will force you onto the bus one way or another). You will be unwillingly carted to the theme park where you will be immediately assaulted by a giant array of lights followed by several rides that you can enjoy. After you disembark from the bus, one of the snowman robots will be waiting to give you tickets to the rides and show you around as part of the Grand Opening. The amusement park will remain open for the rest of the month of December so anyone can visit as they please. The first couple tickets will also be on the house for new arrivals, but the rest will have to be bought with credits, so choose wisely! (Or try and sneak into the rides -- then face the wrath of the snowman robots and their snowman firearms :D)

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing what's going on right here and feel free to consult the FAQ if needed. Please leave any lingering questions in the OOC post, and we'll answer them as soon as we can. If this post goes into overflow, we will make a new one to deal with the ever-hated captcha! Worry not! |

[He quickly picks up that kernel from the ground and throws it to the nearest trashcan. Once that's done he goes back to the robot an says to it:]
There. You don't have to worry about it anymore.
[He is about to leave the robot alone, when then snowman decides to thank him. By giving him a hug.] Ah, n-no... [Lightly pushing the robot away, Ruca tries to free himself from the hug, but it doesn't want to let go.
And this is when Ruca looks at Judai again. Help!]
no subject
Eh, maybe. But thanks to that you made a new friend, didn't you?
[ Oh, he'll help you Ruca. Later. ]

[Ruca gives the robot an uncertain look. While the boy is always happy when he can make new friends, he definitely doesn't like getting bone-crushing hugs. He tries to speak to the robot again.]
Could you please let go of me?
[But the robot still holds him in the embrace. Ruca looks even more unsure of what to do now. It's true that he could use his strength to free himself from the hug, but he's too worried that he'll break the poor robot if he does that.]

Keep sticking together like that and you'll fuse. [ He suddenly switched facades; quickly stood up from his seat and exclaimed in a loud voice: ] Oh no! That guy's trying to get into that ride without a ticket!
[ And as expected, the robot immediately let go of Ruca to chase after this so-called rule breaker. Worked like a charm.
Grabbing his popcorn, Judai motioned for the other to follow him. ] Well, that takes care of that. We better move, just in case.

Before Ruca even gets a chance to ask what the other means by that, Judai yells about someone trying to get into the ride without a ticket... And to be honest Ruca's first reaction is to look in the direction of the rides, before he realizes that it's a lie.
A lie that frees him from the robot, that is.
Looking back one last time, Ruca quickly follows Judai.]
T-thank you so much for the help!
no subject
Well... I guess it was my fault. So you don't need to thank me really - since I'm sure you could've handled yourself just fine without me.
[ A rather ambiguous statement; but besides him was Yubel, briefing him on the inhuman vibes they felt coming from Ruca. Judai had to agree, but didn't activate his powers to make sure. It was really none of his business. ]
no subject
...Huh? No, I don't think I would. [He glances back again, trying to see if the robot returned.]
I honestly didn't know what to do anymore. No matter how much I tried to free myself it just didn't want to let go.
[But Judai saw that, so why did he assume that Ruca would be fine on his own?]
