Who: ALL THE SINGLE LADIES + any crashers! Anyone is welcome if they hear the noise or just want to join in! (Feel free to assume that someone invited them!)

Where: Athena and Ryuko's apartment.
What: Ryuko wanted to do more girly things, so Athena decides to invite every girl she knows to their place for sleepover.

[ SLEEPOVER!!!!!!!!!

Athena has been excited for this for a few days now, and has been trying to get Ryuko to be as psyched as she is, but that sure didn't work.

Either way, a sleepover is happening at their place! There's five mattresses laid out on the living room floor (She's not sure how many are coming but she borrowed five from the gym, anyway), already set up with their own sheets. The pillows are stacked by the wall—there's really a lot of them—and some blankets by a small coffee table. The mattresses are pretty big that it could fit 3-4 people to sleep on them.

There's a projector sitting on the living room too, just in case people brought movies with them, conveniently facing the wall. (Probably just link the CereVice to it and it'll show whatever's playing on the CereVice, too.) OR IF YOU HAVE A KARAOKE APP...

Athena brought in some desserts from the cosplay cafe, so there's a lot of pastries. From three different kinds of cake (chocolate, strawberries and creme, and blueberry cheesecake); to red velvet cupcakes; to a buttload of macarons of all sorts of flavours; there really are a lot of sweets. if you arrive early, you might realise that it's just sweets, a bunch of chips, and soda bottles set on the table.

Where's the real food? Archer said he'll have Saber bring it with her, so that's a thing! And Athena thought they could order some delivery, too. Just so everyone gets to eat something they want. Oddly enough, there's also a plate of salt and lime on the table. Hmm, what for?

Well, no one has to look that hard enough for the reason. There's a couple of bottles of tequila and some shot glasses badly hidden in one of the cupboards, so pretty much everybody can see those. If anyone wants to start body shots drinking with people, then Athena won't stop them. It's a party! And law school gets just as crazy sometimes. Lord knows how much Athena wanted to try and socialise with her fellow budding lawyers, but was just awkward to do so. Thankfully, she's much better at breaking out of her shell now, otherwise, this party wouldn't even be happening. If there's anyone who tries drinking and they look like they shouldn't be (LOOKING AT YOU, MABEL), then Athena will come over and scold them like a mom.

So what else are you waiting for? Come in and take off your shoes, and make yourself comfortable! The bathroom is just down the hall, if you want to change into your jammies.

to anyone not invited but want to tag in: seriously, go ahead! feel free to have your character complain about the noise or check in on the girls if your name is phoenix wright or simon blackquill. there are some girls who athena didn't invite because she doesn't know them, but if they know anyone in the party then they might have been invited by that friend! IF THERE'S A WILL THERE'S A WAY!!! All the ladies and Zura get in! ]

[ She looks intently at Rei's glass of wine. ]

That's so fancy! [ She laughs. ] I've had some tequila, but I wouldn't mind trying out some wine.

[faithfulflame]

[Well with that prompting, Rei pours a second glass and holds it out.]

It's not the best, but it was what I could find. A little bit tangy, but...

[A shrug. Alien refugees can't be choosers.]

Well, if you don't mind, I think I'm going to take you up on this!

[ Excitedly takes the glass, and takes a sip. The flavour's a bit too much for her taste, though. ]

Oh- oh wow, that's definitely wine!

[faithfulflame]

[Rei chuckles lightly to herself and sips from her own glass. She did warn you, Athena. It's inexpensive wine...so that pretty much means mediocre]

Is it? I admit, it's something of an acquired taste. Are you alright? I could fetch you some water if you need?

No way!!

[ She looks down at her glass. Maybe it's the tipsiness that's hitting her, but she's determined to finish it. ]

A guest presented me with a gift. I can't just turn it down. I'm going to finish this if it's the last thing I do!

[ AND NOW FOR A STRAIGHT. ]

[faithfulflame]

[Rei blinks. That...determination! Goodness, you've been drinking a lot more than her!]

Well...don't...drink it too fast, or it'll go to your head even more.

[She won't stop you though, she's definitely not fast enough. And deep down she sort of wants to see just how crazy Athena will get if this is her after a little bit of tequila...]

[ BAM. She sets the wine glass back on the table after finishing it, and she sure is a bit... dizzy now. ]

Woah! I can't believe I drank all that!

[ Looks like she's louder... (again?). She's in disbelief of what she just did, which is pretty sad. ]

[faithfulflame]

[A look of concern flickers through Rei’s eyes as she watches the display. She’s naturally somewhat concerned, after all. It was her wine…]

I can’t either. That was fast. [She reaches a hand out to steady Athena.]

Maybe you should sit down. That was a lot, and you were already a bit tipsy.

[psycholawgy]

[ She slaps her cheeks with her palms a couple of times so she can concentrate on what's happening. ]

I'm fine! Thank you for the drink! I can't sit down, because I have to take care of the others.

[faithfulflame]

Are you sure you're in any shape to play host?

[Rei's voice is pretty firm, almost insistent.]

Because I'm not. And it'd be my fault for giving you something too strong if you got hurt. Please, sit.

[psycholawgy]

[ Now she feels like she just got scolded, and sits down. ]

Yes, mom...

[faithfulflame]

[Rei cannot help but smile faintly. She did often have to be Team Mom back home. Her own cheeks are still a little flushed from the drink too, and she slumps down beside Athena.]

Don't be silly. You just...It's not smart to run around tipsy. You don't drink much, do you?

[psycholawgy]

Eerk! Well...

[ For some reason, she totally feels shy about the truth. ]

I didn't really have a lot of time for fun stuff back home.

[faithfulflame]

No?

[Rei slowly drains the remainder of her glass. It’ll probably be necessary, for smalltalk. Not that she’s not interested, just that she’s very close to saying something sarcastic again, and she’d rather not accidentally alienate a potential friend? Ally? She’s not entirely sure of what she’s even looking for here.]

What is it you do, then? If you’re too busy for evenings with wine and friends.

[ She smiles rather fondly before answering. If there's anything different with Athena when she's intoxicated (apart from her loud voice), it's her emotions. Mood swings galore. ]

I recently graduated law school, and then I flew back to Los Angeles to practise being a defense attorney. I studied and studied, and I didn't really want to waste any time having extra-curriculars that weren't school-related.

[ Sleepovers and drinking are not part of those!! ]

Oh! Well that definitely makes sense then.

[Rei laughs, a little nervously.]

A friend of mine is studying law, actually. He...doesn't get out much anymore. And he's only a first year. I don't know how people can manage that, honestly.

[psycholawgy]

You have to bury yourself in books all the time!

[ And her mood changes again, and her necklace turns from green, to red, showing an angry face >:( ]

I'm just glad I'm done with law school. Now I can focus on studying psychology again! [ That's more fun for her, anyway. ]

You study law and psychology?

[That mood shift is...interesting. And that necklace is too!]

I got my attorney's badge now, so law is done. And I'm just reading about more theories and studies about Psychology so I can use it in court.

[faithfulflame]

I guess that seems like a logical thing to do. Psychology is good for that sort of thing, I understand.

[She smiles weakly.]

I just graduated High School, and was thinking about the next step when I arrived here.

[psycholawgy]

What are your choices?

[ If she can help someone shape out their future, then that would be really great. She'd feel so proud of herself for helping someone out. ]

Well, the main one is whether or not to attend college. I know what job I'm going to take, I've been doing that since I was young. But is it worth the money and time to go into higher education, when you already have your dream job?

[In this case, managing a shrine.]

[psycholawgy]

I guess it's different, depending on where you're from. The cost of education in the States and in Europe is expensive, compared to say... some schools in Asia.

[ A beat. ] But I think education is really important, even if you already have what you want.

[faithfulflame]

Well, I live in Tokyo. I have a lot of options, though. My grades were…good.

[She doesn’t want to brag.]

And you think I should go, then? I was leaning that way, to study theology, but I’m still unsure.

[psycholawgy]

You really should!

[ If she could go back to school again and get a masteral degree, then she would. ]

Studying at home can only do so much, so learning from professionals would broaden your horizons by a lot.
