Who: ALL THE ~~SINGLE~~ LADIES + any crashers! Anyone is welcome if they hear the noise or just want to join in! (Feel free to assume that someone invited them!)
When: 12/12 ICly.
Where: Athena and Ryuko's apartment.
What: Ryuko wanted to do more girly things, so Athena decides to invite every girl she knows to their place for sleepover.

[ SLEEPOVER!!!!!!!!!

Athena has been excited for this for a few days now, and has been trying to get Ryuko to be as psyched as she is, but that sure didn't work.

Either way, a sleepover is happening at their place! There's five mattresses laid out on the living room floor (She's not sure how many are coming but she borrowed five from the gym, anyway), already set up with their own sheets. The pillows are stacked by the wall—there's really a lot of them—and some blankets by a small coffee table. The mattresses are pretty big that it could fit 3-4 people to sleep on them.

There's a projector sitting on the living room too, just in case people brought movies with them, conveniently facing the wall. (Probably just link the CereVice to it and it'll show whatever's playing on the CereVice, too.) OR IF YOU HAVE A KARAOKE APP...

Athena brought in some desserts from the cosplay cafe, so there's a lot of pastries. From three different kinds of cake (chocolate, strawberries and creme, and blueberry cheesecake); to red velvet cupcakes; to a buttload of macarons of all sorts of flavours; there really are a lot of sweets. if you arrive early, you might realise that it's just sweets, a bunch of chips, and soda bottles set on the table.

Where's the real food? Archer said he'll have Saber bring it with her, so that's a thing! And Athena thought they could order some delivery, too. Just so everyone gets to eat something they want. Oddly enough, there's also a plate of salt and lime on the table. Hmm, what for?

Well, no one has to look that hard enough for the reason. There's a couple of bottles of tequila and some shot glasses badly hidden in one of the cupboards, so pretty much everybody can see those. If anyone wants to start ~~body shots~~ drinking with people, then Athena won't stop them. It's a party! And law school gets just as crazy sometimes. Lord knows how much Athena wanted to try and socialise with her fellow budding lawyers, but was just awkward to do so. Thankfully, she's much better at breaking out of her shell now, otherwise, this party wouldn't even be happening. If there's anyone who tries drinking and they look like they shouldn't be (LOOKING AT YOU, MABEL), then Athena will come over and scold them like a mom.

So what else are you waiting for? Come in and take off your shoes, and make yourself comfortable! The bathroom is just down the hall, if you want to change into your jammies.

[She does indeed lead the way to a closet she'd snooped in earlier, resisting the other's protests. It's only a short distance away, but of course the people make it harder.

Leia looks back on occasion to make sure she hasn't lost her.]

Don't worry so much. I can guarantee there are others here making a much bigger mess than you.

[said as they reach the closet. She opens it and reaches inside, pulling out two rather small ones; and she offers one to Mio.]

Yeah, but... [She trails off, taking the offered towel with a conflicted expression. She really wants to tell Leia not to bother, but Leia already rejected that.]

I should probably go home after this, honestly. I'm sorry for causing trouble. [It's a good excuse as any to bolt.] I don't think these kinds of situations are for me...

[Leia wipes herself down, but frowns thoughtfully for a moment as she stares at the other towels in the closet. After consideration, she grabs another one. She should probably use some water, too, otherwise her clothes and everything will get all sticky.

As she thinks about this (and where the bathroom might be), she turns to Mio, eyes widened and just a bit pleading. She'd hate to be the final straw that urges her to leave.]

Awww, don't leave yet. I didn't even get your name.

[...]

You're just a little overwhelmed, that's all.

[Her smile is tight and strained-- overwhelmed doesn't feel strong enough a word for this.] I guess. It's just... Not knowing what to do with myself, I guess.

[But Leia's right about one thing, they don't know each others' names at all. Feeling a little embarrassed for not doing it earlier, she bows politely.] Amakura Mio. Pleased to meet you. Sorry, I didn't even think to introduce myself before.

[She feels a bit better seeing that smile, strained though it may be. After all, everyone's been at a point in their lives where they don't know what to do with themselves, Leia herself included. That doesn't mean they shouldn't have any fun.]

I'm Leia. Pleased to meet you, too.

[She glances around one more time and gestures for her to follow.]

Come on! I think I have an idea.

[She's about to comment that Leia's a pretty name, but before she can get it out they're apparently going on an adventure. Should she feel so uneasy right now??[

Um-- An idea? [Mio echoes her, not knowing what else to say, and she follows because-- Well, because she's curious and it's something to do.] Where are we going?

Well, first I think I'm gonna get some water so none of this gets all sticky... but after that, I could give you a makeover.

[Her offer seems earnest, and she sounds kind of excited.]

I'm not super great at it, but it would get you away from the crowd for a while. What do you say?

[Mio's surprised, but not really adverse to it; her expression turns curious] Do you do your own? I've never really worn any before, only for festivals and things like that.

[Still, it doesn't sound terrible. She even smiles a little!] ...Sure, why not? It could be fun. Besides, even if you do a bad job, it'll wash off right?

[...Okay, she has to laugh at that, even if it does sting a little.]

To be honest, I've never done my own makeup before, but I've always wanted to try it. We can learn together.

You're really cheerful, aren't you. [It's not a question and Mio shakes her head with an amused look. It's not a bad thing, really; it's honestly kind of refreshing even if she's not sure how to handle it right now.]

How long have you been here, Leia? I mean-- In the city, not at the party.

[She gets that a lot, so it's easy to accept it as a compliment, regardless of how she means it. Being happy is just what she does! And Rowen's taught her that it's a good thing for as long as they've been friends.

At the question... well. Leia actually has to think.]

Oh. It's actually been a while. Umm... almost two months?

Two months? [Mio echoes her with a crestfallen sort of expression.] Geez... And there's people that have probably been here even longer, right?

[Well after the effort Leia's already been going through to make this a happier occasion, Mio certainly doesn't want to ruin it. So she shakes her head in an effort to rid herself of the thoughts.] Gotta do our best... or something, right? There's no use really worrying about it now.

[She'd be right about that. As happy as Leia wants things to be, it's not like she can really lie all that convincingly about a predicament they all share...

She's glad when Mio finally seems to have found her wavelength.]

Right. Especially on a night like tonight... we should just have as much fun as possible. I mean, there are just so many people here...

There's no way we won't get to the bottom of things eventually.
