[Rock Lee happens to be at the general store, collecting groceries. There's seemingly a number of normal products in his shopping cart... but then there's also massive amounts of packages of floss. In fact, he even seems to be intensely flossing as he waits in line and focusing on his canines. What could it mean...?

B. CERES Gym

[Another day at the gym. He's been working harder ever since he lost his job at the sports store. Here at the gym, he acts as a martial arts instructor. But, he's dealing with a problem passed down by whoever his boss happens to be: apparently some of his students have complained about his workouts being too intense. He has to do something to amend that.]

For fellow instructors

[If Rock Lee sees anyone else who teaches at the gym, he will handstand-run right at them.]

Excuse me!! I would like a moment of your time, please!

For students or anyone else

[Once he sees anyone he's trained with, or someone who looks like a potential new student, he will try greeting them with a meek wave. Can he keep down the intensity?!]

C. Ramen Place

[Rock Lee is taking orders at the same ramen place where Naruto works.]

Would you like anything, esteemed customer?! I can guarantee that our curry ramen will make you feel more lively than ever!!

D. Wild Card!

Feel free to run into him somewhere around the residential, shopping and/or entertainment districts!

[Don't think he doesn't notice that beginner comment. But even so, Hide has some doubts. It's just not usual to see a smile so bright.]

[He takes an average amount of care of his teeth. Which is to say, he's never heard any complaints from his dentist. But this guy might just have some secrets of his own.]

By knowing Gai-Sensei! That is the title which he passed on to me!

He's the most creative man I know! And our relationship as student and teacher... It is unmatched!

No, it's alright. I don't have that kind of relationship with any of my teachers.

[Once Lee has finished checking out his groceries, it's Hide's turn. He only has a couple of items so he's done in minutes.]

Great. Follow me. It's just down the block.

[He leads Lee outside.]

Do you need to drop off your groceries first? Those bags look heavy.

[Lee follows him diligently! And he keeps a chipper smile on. The bags may look heavy, but Lee does not look troubled at all.]

Nope! They may be heavy, but I enjoy carrying them. It is like moving with extra weights!

[Hide shrugs. If Lee isn't worried about it, why should he be? If he gets tired later Hide can just offer to carry something.]

Is this another kind of training of yours?

[He smiles as he says it, but then the rest of Lee's words register.]

Extra weights?

[He nods.]

I like to practice many kinds of training! It will only benefit me in the end. One can never have too many weights to carry! [Yes, yes they can.]

How many...weights are you carrying now?

[Should he be concerned?]

Well, aside from the weight of these groceries, I have two on my legs! They have been a constant part of my life.

You mean you wear them all the time? Isn't that tiring?

Nope! It has been like this for years. Getting used to them is just one aspect of my training!

What is it that you're training to do exactly?

To become stronger, and to be the most splendid ninja that I can be!

You're a ninja? [His eyes light up in new found enthusiasm.]

Do you wear a mask over your face when you fight? Do you have any shuriken? [And this is only the beginning of his questions.]

That's right!! [He beams, seeming very proud to explain himself.]

Ah, I can fight very well without a mask!! I do not wear one. I do have several shuriken!! [He actually pulls some out of the pockets of his vest to demonstrate.]

[Hide stares at the shuriken in glee.]

That's so cool, man! You've got to teach me some of your moves sometime.

[Training with an actual ninja. It's like a boyhood dream come true.]
