[Archer was fully cringing at the emblem Athena made and the fact that it was pasted on his apron. Well, inwardly at least. Athena got to have her way with the things went around here since she was the one who put in the money and most of the work. That meant her lame idea of what was great ended up plastering almost anything that had the surface for it.

But for a food stall, there was a serious lack of menu. Archer, though, intentionally wanted that. Restricting himself would only be admitting that he couldn't make things that people wanted outside of said menu. Obviously, there were some restrictions because supplies of some things were exceedingly rare or impossible to find. Which meant that rich people places had to be visited for that. But here were reasonable prices for fresh cooked food.]

Before you ask, there's no menu. So just tell me what you want.

[Customer service needed a little bit of work, however. And no, Saber, you weren't getting any free food.]

[Having just left his job at the arcades, Yogi is quite hungry, and has no hesitation about eating at a food stall that he's found at just the right time.

With a wave, he walks up to the stall, looking around curiously.]

Hello! I've never ordered without a menu before, but is there any chance you can do pancakes? Chocolate chip ones? Oh! Do you have powdered sugar? Actually, any kind of pancakes would be good! I won't be too picky.

I have all of that. As a matter of fact, that kind of request is pretty simple so if you're holding back, I'd suggest not doing that.

[In case there was actually something he wanted that he was afraid of getting rejected over.]

[He isn't known for his refined taste, but permission to get a little more variety is more than enough.]

Really? Then, if you don't mind, can you make banana chocolate chip pancakes with powdered sugar and cinnamon whipped cream and lots of syrup? And mango slices with whipped cream too?

[He'd almost have to write that one down.

But it sounds more in line than random guesses as to what he wants. Gotta get started on that batter.]

Want anything to drink or will you pick something up elsewhere?

[There was so much excitement about food that he nearly forgot about a drink, so he pauses thoughtfully.]

Hot chocolate with marshmallows? The big ones or the little ones, whatever you have?

Little ones are better for hot chocolate. They melt faster and add their flavor while its still hot.

[Not begrudging people who prefer the large ones. There's just an objectively superior option.]

I never thought about that, I just always added a bunch of marshmallows on top. You must really enjoy making food to put so much thought into even little things like that!

Food is a lot like art. Unlike a lot of cooks, though, I'm not going to judge anyone because they order something unhealthy.

[Because lord, this is incredibly unhealthy.]

I'll just make it good enough that they'll want more.

[Oblivious or just choosing to ignore the fact that he is going to eat a meal made entirely of sugar, the world may never know.]

That's a great way to think! I bet it would make people really sad to be scolded about their meals by the very people that make them. You're so dedicated, too! Have you been cooking for a long time?

It's not really about the time put in but the effort. For most of my life, I lived with ravenous women. Maybe you don't understand but if you can't cook well in that environment, it's all over.

[sugarcoats]

Ehh, I wouldn't call any of the women I lived or worked with ravenous...

[Because he likes not being berated or having his face kicked in.]

But I do understand what it's like when people get all sorts of cranky about not eating. They can be pretty tough to deal with! I would want to avoid that, for sure.

If it helps in the future, that bad attitude is caused by low blood sugar. Just make sure they snack on something every couple hours or so.

[Pouring batter on a griddle right now because looking good.]

Whoa, you really do know a lot! I'll keep that in mind, thank you! Though I don't know how well someone would like to be told to eat because they're acting grouchy...

You can even have him make the pancake look like a bear, or a cat! He can do anything!

Cats? That's amazing! I could eat food shaped like things all day long.

Wh-- how much like a person? Like, gingerbread men, cookie cutter cookies, cakes and sweets shaped like little characters, those are all good.

No way! Totally customised food that looks like a friend of yours, or your favourite movie star or idol.

Eh... I don't know, that might be too much. I wouldn't be able to take them looking back at me from the plate while I ate them, you know?

I guess there's only a few people who likes those things, huh?

[ She's not one of those people, but it's a thing to consider, anyway. ]

I was going to tell you that Archer can probably make those, too.

[Considering he would cry if he had to eat food that looked like anyone he knew, he isn't one of those types of people either.]

Mm, thank you for the consideration, but I don't think I'll be ordering anything quite like that. So, I guess I should have said that I could eat food that looks like certain things all day long.
