open to all;
Who: Archer
swordboning and YOU. (Maybe Athena too)
When: December 15th and on
Where: Right here where you need him. At least in the streets.
What: Golden Archers is sadly open. Come get your top tier food of choice.
Rating/Warning: Nah.
[Archer was fully cringing at the emblem Athena made and the fact that it was pasted on his apron. Well, inwardly at least. Athena got to have her way with the things went around here since she was the one who put in the money and most of the work. That meant her lame idea of what was great ended up plastering almost anything that had the surface for it.
But for a food stall, there was a serious lack of menu. Archer, though, intentionally wanted that. Restricting himself would only be admitting that he couldn't make things that people wanted outside of said menu. Obviously, there were some restrictions because supplies of some things were exceedingly rare or impossible to find. Which meant that rich people places had to be visited for that. But here were reasonable prices for fresh cooked food.]
Before you ask, there's no menu. So just tell me what you want.
[Customer service needed a little bit of work, however. And no, Saber, you weren't getting any free food.]

well when your body is almost literally made of swords....
[That person being Athena. That and it was some kind of therapy. Or something or another. When you're bitter about nearly everything, those kinds of things tend to blur.]

[Welcome to real suffering.]
And I'm guessing human creativity in general seems new to you.

a pause, then, and he hesitantly shakes his head. ] In a general sense, no. That is, I've been around a very long time. But experiencing it personally is a fairly recent development.

[Shrugging and shaking his head.]
I'm not exactly human.

--Are you another blade-spirit, then? [ not one that he recognizes, if so. but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. ]
no subject
[It was a difficult guess since that was a pretty obvious conclusion to jump to.]

I'm afraid I've never heard of a 'heroic spirit'. I-- I assume it has something to do with you being the spirit of a hero, but.. [ well, he's looking for context. ]
no subject
[Not that he would be able to guess that at all. Archer was someone he doubted anyone from another world would know.]
As for you, I can't say I've heard of that blade, and I have created thousands of them. Nor have I heard of blades having spirits.

[ it's sort of nice to be relatively anonymous. there's no awkwardness from other people regarding how to treat him, and he doesn't have to feel uncomfortable being gracious and flattering about oda-sama. ]
Is there some reason that people aren't supposed to know who you are..? Or do you simply prefer to remain anonymous?

[Still, it was pointless. For someone like Archer, whose life revolved around swords, if they had spirits, he would have discovered them while making all those imitations.]
I like a little bit of secrecy, that's all. It's nothing too complicated.

Ah, not that it matters, I suppose. They've been gone a long time.
[ but then his lips quirk up. ] That's very mysterious, Archer-san.

[When it comes to historical weapons, he can be something of a nerd.]
But just call me Archer. The suffixes aren't needed.
