open to all;
Who: Archer
swordboning and YOU. (Maybe Athena too)
When: December 15th and on
Where: Right here where you need him. At least in the streets.
What: Golden Archers is sadly open. Come get your top tier food of choice.
Rating/Warning: Nah.
[Archer was fully cringing at the emblem Athena made and the fact that it was pasted on his apron. Well, inwardly at least. Athena got to have her way with the things went around here since she was the one who put in the money and most of the work. That meant her lame idea of what was great ended up plastering almost anything that had the surface for it.
But for a food stall, there was a serious lack of menu. Archer, though, intentionally wanted that. Restricting himself would only be admitting that he couldn't make things that people wanted outside of said menu. Obviously, there were some restrictions because supplies of some things were exceedingly rare or impossible to find. Which meant that rich people places had to be visited for that. But here were reasonable prices for fresh cooked food.]
Before you ask, there's no menu. So just tell me what you want.
[Customer service needed a little bit of work, however. And no, Saber, you weren't getting any free food.]

[ ... she won't tell Simon that Lilith found her worthy for now. ]

Not setting the bar very high, then, is she? Survival is all we can do in this wretched place.

Death doesn't seem to be permanent here, but it seems it can cause some damage to your code, the more times it happens. Not to mention, there have been people who were brought here, but are now considered missing.
[ Speaking of— ] Do you know Mr. Gavin?

A convicted what?! I've never heard of this!

[Said with the most vicious smirk, because anything that torments prison guards is hilarious by default.]
He, too, was one of those whose orchestrations lead to the dark age of the law. But I don't know all the details... I was long caged ere he was.

[ Simon, cut that out. This is not funny!! ]
Looks like I have to ask Mr. Wright about it some time. [ A beat. ] But I was talking about Klavier Gavin. He was here, and we arrived at the same time. He's supposed to be older than I am, but like Mr. Edgeworth, he's from the past.
It's been a while since I last heard from him, and I can't text or call him anymore, so I can only guess that he's. . . gone. [ That probably sounded a bit too dark for her tastes, since now, she looks so unsure regarding her word choice. ]
no subject
Gone...? So he simply vanished without a trace?

[ A look of worry furrows her brow, but she looks away just so her expression won't be too obvious. ]
So even if we're saved now, we could still disappear. I don't know what happens to those people, but Lilith said that they're safe, anyway. But I don't know what that means.

[It seems like a long shot, but it's the most they can hope for, at this point.]
Did she tell you anything else?
no subject
I can only hope that what happened to Mr. Gavin doesn't happen to me. I want to see this 'til the end. And if it did, Lilith would be disappointed, too. She sounded like she relied on me when she told me I needed to survive.
no subject
Nothing is going to happen to you, if I have any say in it. But be wary of this Lilith, as well... Simply because she fed you some information doesn't mean she's trustworthy, least of all when her agenda remains unknown.

[ Even though she already does... WELP. ]
I've actually talked to her first before ever meeting the CEO. But I know he makes posts every now and then, too.
no subject
And what kinds of things does the CEO post about? Aside from apologies and excuses for his robot blunders.

I think Archer would know; he's been here for more than two months. I think he was part of the first batch of arrivals.

[ She even got into a fight with someone over believing the whole thing or not. People nowadays can just be so disagreeable! ]
I guess I can't do anything about that.
no subject
[In other words, he's somewhere in between the two stances... for now.]
Leave worrying about CERES' reputation to their PR team. There's no need for you to get involved.

[ More like annoyed with some people for not sharing her point of view!!! ]

[Because it happens literally all the time.]

I don't know what you're talking about!

Maybe you should turn your reading for the rest of the day to studies on denial.
