open to all;
Who: Archer
swordboning and YOU. (Maybe Athena too)
When: December 15th and on
Where: Right here where you need him. At least in the streets.
What: Golden Archers is sadly open. Come get your top tier food of choice.
Rating/Warning: Nah.
[Archer was fully cringing at the emblem Athena made and the fact that it was pasted on his apron. Well, inwardly at least. Athena got to have her way with the things went around here since she was the one who put in the money and most of the work. That meant her lame idea of what was great ended up plastering almost anything that had the surface for it.
But for a food stall, there was a serious lack of menu. Archer, though, intentionally wanted that. Restricting himself would only be admitting that he couldn't make things that people wanted outside of said menu. Obviously, there were some restrictions because supplies of some things were exceedingly rare or impossible to find. Which meant that rich people places had to be visited for that. But here were reasonable prices for fresh cooked food.]
Before you ask, there's no menu. So just tell me what you want.
[Customer service needed a little bit of work, however. And no, Saber, you weren't getting any free food.]

I'll like a serving of seafood aglio olio with a side of ceasar salad.
[ Who eat spaghetti with salad? Tieria apparently. ]
no subject
Do you want your salad first or have them served at the same time?
[Either way, working on the pasta comes first. Yes, he's hand-making it.]
no subject
Salad first, thank you.
[ He's not expecting hand-made pasta so he's actually impressed and is watching him curiously, wondering if he can makes them too. Maybe he could try it himself later, at home. ]
How long do you have to knead that?
no subject
[It also helps to be able to judge things like this on a magical level. Not that he's doing that. It's all about experience.]
I continue until I feel like it's done.
no subject
Were you a chef?
[ Since he hasn't been served anything else, he ends up watching the guy make pasta... ]
no subject
[That was good enough for him.
Surprisingly, he didn't use a pasta press. Just his own strength, which was considerable in comparison to normal humans. And sadly lacking when compared to those he was equal with.]
no subject
The pasta pressing gains his attention however, as he looks intently at Archer. He could tell from the amount of pressure he applies to the pasta dough that this man has considerable strength in him. ]
You're quite strong.
no subject
[Of course, getting anything out of him is difficult. Especially when he's just slicing it properly.]
no subject
[ Tieria can hear the carefulness in that reply and simply makes a note in his mind that this man isn't quite the brute personality he's presenting. ]
no subject
Hello again.
[ Better greet him than outright ignore him, right? Athena looks a bit uneasy, though. ]
no subject
Her greeting gets a nod in reply and nothing else because this is just how he is. Greetings isn't something that he particularly cares for unless in official capacity.
He does however, notice her uneasiness and instead of keeping quiet, he attempts a small conversation. While he doesn't agree with her outlook of robots-humans relation, he admits he was a little harsh on her. ]
Are you here for dinner?
no subject
Well, this is more like work. I'm helping Archer out in his business.
no subject
I see. [ Considering the fact that Archer hasn't served his salad, he might as well have something to drink while waiting for his pasta. ] I'll like a glass of water then.
no subject
[ She gives him a two fingered salute before grabbing a glass and filling it up with water. The water is cold since they keep it in a small cooler, and she scoops up some ice and adds it into the glass. It doesn't take long for Athena to slide the glass right by Tieria, along with a coaster. ]
Anything else?
no subject
You're not cooking? [ He'll like his salad if you are, because it doesn't look like Archer is making it anytime soon. ]
no subject
[ She glances over at Archer who seems to be enjoying preparing the food. She definitely isn't going to step on his toes, especially when she feels that this will make him happy. ]
Not allowed to.
[ If it's about mundane things, Athena's acting is terribly hammy. So, yes, it looks like she had more to say about it, but she decides not to, leaving a lot of awkwardness in the air. ]
no subject
[ Even for someone who is largely clueless when it comes to social interaction, that much awkwardness in the air is obvious. Curious of what makes her seem so tense(?), he takes a another sip of water. ]
If you want to say something, just say it.
no subject
My cooking's improving...!
[ She's absolutely offended, but her anger quickly dissipates when Tieria continues. ]
I don't have anything else to say. This is Archer's business, and I don't plan on stealing his thunder, so to speak.
no subject
Cook after you have improved then.
[ He shrugs at her refusal, obviously unconvinced. ]
It's not like you're airing this on broadcast, I doubt telling one person will steal his show.
no subject
I'm still not going to do any kitchen work.
[ She quickly glances at Archer, then leans forward to whisper to Tieria: ]
This is kind of like a therapy thing for him. So I don't want to intervene.
no subject
Couldn't you practice at home?
[ He automatically put distance between them when she leans forward, not liking having his personal space invaded by someone he doesn't trust, frowning as he listens to her. He turns to get a better look at Archer at what Athena said, finding it strange that a seemingly calm man needs therapy. ]
He doesn't look like he needs any.
no subject
... Nevermind. Forget I said anything.
