[Archer was fully cringing at the emblem Athena made and the fact that it was pasted on his apron. Well, inwardly at least. Athena got to have her way with the things went around here since she was the one who put in the money and most of the work. That meant her lame idea of what was great ended up plastering almost anything that had the surface for it.

But for a food stall, there was a serious lack of menu. Archer, though, intentionally wanted that. Restricting himself would only be admitting that he couldn't make things that people wanted outside of said menu. Obviously, there were some restrictions because supplies of some things were exceedingly rare or impossible to find. Which meant that rich people places had to be visited for that. But here were reasonable prices for fresh cooked food.]

Before you ask, there's no menu. So just tell me what you want.

[Customer service needed a little bit of work, however. And no, Saber, you weren't getting any free food.]

One chocolate-coated strawberry crepe coming up. Probably big enough for two people. But it'll take a few minutes here to melt some chocolate and get it right.]

A warrior who has achieved such a large legend that they can be recognized as guardians of humanity. You're Japanese. Think of someone like Oda Nobunaga or Miyamoto Musashi.

. . . so, what, a fairy comes down from the sky and touches your nose and imparts upon you magical powers once you become well known enough?

If it were that simple, even people like you would qualify.

So how does it really work, then?

It's just as I said. When you get famous enough that you're more a legend than an actual historical story.

Where does the magic part factor in?

[certainly someone doesn't become a legend and then POOF they are magic]

Human belief. That's what magical.

See, an easy explanation. And one that's factually correct.

Not everyone is a believer or trusts in the idea that perception can be reality.

And not everyone relies on that sort of belief to make their own magic come to life.

But you'll agree that what people believe is going to end up being reality.
