[Chizuru is hanging back, blessedly, so Kaoru is able to turn his full attention back on Soujirou - or the current lack of Soujirou. At least his denting a damn building is a pretty good heads up, and even though he's moving quickly, Kaoru matches his speed fairly evenly. He side-steps rather than attempting to block head on, sword up and at the ready. If Soujirou gets close enough to see, he'll also notice that the shallow injury that had been doled out earlier is already finishing sealing up, the flickering end of strange orange light dissipating into the air around him.
