Who: Naruto and Sakura
When: Morning, 12/21
Where: Naruto's Apartment.
What: ...Naruto needs to get an education, and for once it's not about violence.
Rating/Warning: PG, because it's just Naruto and Sakura and their brand of violence is... uh, comedic.

[ Normally, Naruto's generally up at this hour to prepare for his shift. However, considering the old man let him out by giving him a day off, Naruto's still spending his time lying on his futon. His apartment is sparsely decorated and compared to the one he had back home, it's a bit more neat too thanks to the actual lack of items and trashes. He's been eating out a lot ever since he got here and rarely touched his cup noodles, of which there's still two boxes full of them right near his empty bookshelf. Either ways, it's here that Sakura will find Naruto still snoring away as he just mumbled things like "Mmm, tonkotsu ramen..." on occasion.

Still, Sakura's probably there on a mission, and if she needs to wake him up for that purpose. Oh he'll be up.

But he won't be that cordial either. Because he needs his beauty sleep (not really). ]

[ Working hard is just something that Sakura does and so when she has those hours of free time (as rare as they are), she fills them with worrying about others. Naruto, naturally, is at the top of her list. His health, his education, his everything. When she discovers that there's a school here and that he's not attending, there's only one solution. He's still not eighteen years old so he can qualify as a student.

Convincing him to enroll, on the other hand, will be a lot harder than simply asking him to go. Good thing she's gotten really good at using her hands. ]

Naruto! [ Knocking on the door loudly, she stands outside, unable to enter until he lets her in.

At least for now. If he refuses, then she just might actually break the door down through brute strength. No one really wants that, do they? ]

[ ...Unfortunately, Naruto's still asleep despite Sakura's knocking. And unfortunately his tenant is also out cold for the moment to even wake the boy up. Therefore, it's only normal that the only thing that greets Sakura is Naruto's muffled snoring from behind the door. ]

Zzz...

[ It's a good thing she doesn't need to bother waking anyone up in order to let herself in. Unless, of course, the sound of the door snapping behind the impact of her fist does so for her. ]

Naruto! [ Stepping over the mess she's made and into the apartment. ]

Wake up already!

[ The sound of the doors breaking definitely startled Naruto as he scrambled up, naked but not really thanks to his boxers as he's holding a kunai he always left besides his pillow in this place ( he has to keep himself safe on the off-chance someone tries to kill him ), staring at his would be 'assailant'. ]

Ya better have a good reason for this 'ttebayo! I swear you won't—

— Wait, Sakura!? Why are you here!?

[ SHIT DID HE DO SOMETHING WRONG? HE CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT PRESSING REASON WOULD CAUSE SAKURA TO BUST DOWN HIS DOOR. ]

[ He did everything wrong. Stepping through, she leaps up over the fallen door and closes the distance between them. ]

You're going to be late if you don't hurry up and get ready.

[ Late for what? Wouldn't he like to know? ] I'll get the water running for your bath, so you better hurry.

...Haaah!?

[ The only correct response is to make that noise as he's just super confused at everything right now. ]

Sakura, late for what, training? Because I'm sure I didn't set any appointments up...?

For your first day of school. [ Sakura says over her shoulder as she turns into his bathroom to turn on the water as promised. ]

So I guess you could call it training!

[ It's a quiet day in Cerealia. To those currently doing their weekend duties, they can hear something over their routine. ]

WHAT THE HELL!?

You're joking right!? I'm a Genin and I don't have to go to school anymore, 'ttebayo!

[ no he's not moving from his spot because WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK!? ]

[ Sakura handles his rebuke well for her. He can't see her taking in a deep breath in the bathroom as the tub slowly fills. For a moment that lasts an uncomfortably long time, there's only the sound of running water that fills the silence. ]

Naruto. [ His voice is spoken calmly as she turns around the corner and approaches him with her usual hastened gait. ]

How old are you?

...17...? Wait, what does this have to do with anything!?

[ The fact that he had to even remember his age in this place is kind of telling that the stress from everything else made him a bit forgetful about his own details.

But no really why does he have to go to school!? Is something that's still on his mind right now. ]

Everyone under the age of eighteen is considered a student in this colony. [ Sakura explains calmly once she's within range of him. ]

As your teammate, I've personally evaluated that you need to expand on your education and this place will grant you that opportunity. So you're going.

...What about you, aren't teammates supposed to do things together for the sake of the team!?

[ this is a betrayal! A BETRAYAL OF A DIFFERENT KIND ENTIRELY. ]
