[This was kind of Archer's fault. Namely because he was a lame ass when it came to interpersonal relationships and waited a biiiiiit too long before asking Rin to the ball. Which means he was beaten by the other Servant.

Archer put on the intimidating look as he waited for Saber to come out of her place of work. He wasn't intending on fighting at all but he definitely wanted to set the pace of the upcoming interaction. The quicker Saber gets drawn into the tune he sings, the faster the conversation will go. Real life 101 that would never actually cut it in polite conversation.

So when she did step out...]

...don your armor, Saber.

[Because he was certainly leaking the intent to be aggressive. Albeit intentionally. That would change shortly enough.]

[ No way Archer is the lamest! Saber just... watches Archer for a moment though, not realizing right away when she's supposed to hit the pads at her feet. ]

"Miss! Miss! Miss!"

[ The machine on her side starts yelling at her, which makes her grind her teeth, and stomp down hard, as if that would somehow fix her poor skill at this game. ]

"Weak! Ok! Weak! Alright!"

[ ...She's getting better?! ]

[Saber, please. Get some rhythm. Or something.

No Saber, you are truly the lamest.]

[ She can dance, just not.... this fast! ]

W-Why do they move so quickly?!

[ She stomps and stomps and eventually.... ]

"Oh no, you failed!" [ The game ends and it clearly shows Archer... as the winner. ]

[Archer wasn't going to rub it in but the look on his face said enough. Saber, why did you choose video games.]

[ Saber just looks dejected, almost like she might kick the machine. ...And she chose it because no one's foot work is better than her own in combat! She should have been able to ace it! ]

You have have won that battle, Archer, but I will not lose the next!

If you insist but I have my doubts.

[Since he totally picked a task that size made a big difference in.]

I was not prepared for this as I had thought... but I am more than ready for your challenge.

[ Okay Archer, she is stepping away from the machine before she blows it to pieces. Bring them to the final challenge! ]

Good. Follow me.

[Because there's a nearby bar. All decent arcades have a bar attached to them. Archer just takes a seat at it.]

[ Following his example, Saber sits as well, looking at the different types of alcohol served here, not quite knowing anything about them. ]

And what are the rules of this game?

We each drink the same amount of the same thing until one of us can't drink anymore.

[ Saber has gotten drunk before, not that she wanted to, but when her men would keep telling her to drink, she had trouble saying no. ]

That's it. A pretty simple game if I say so myself.

Then we should not waste anymore time. Barkeep!

[ She just... yells out to the bartender. Like she has any idea what she is doing. Also she looks like 15. ]

Bartender is a better word. And you'll have to tell him what you want.

...Bartender, two ales.

[ She just looks at Archer like... "see i'm not a total idiot". ]

[swordboning]

Ale is pretty low in alcoholic content. That and there are far too many different kinds of ale to just order a basic one. This isn't your time, where water was too filthy to drink so alcohol was preferred.

[ Dammit Archer. She pounds again on the countertop to catch the bartender's attention, who is likely growing increasingly annoyed. ]

Two of your strongest drinks then! And keep them coming!

[swordboning]

[Hope she likes 151.

Because there are two shots of it now in front of them.]

Well...it was your choice.

[invisibleair]

[ Oh what were you still talking Archer? Because that shot in front of Saber is already gone. She downed it in a second. It burns like hell... but no worse than an arrow in the shoulder. ]

Your turn, Archer.

[swordboning]

[Taking the shot himself. Pain was nothing to him either.]

Fine, what's next? Don't tell me you want to do these all night.

[invisibleair]

[ Just weakness leaving the body. ]

Do you have a better plan? [ She motions for two more of the same though, for the moment. ]

[swordboning]

No. Does it matter?

[invisibleair]

[ So then down goes the second one. Saber is surprisingly calm in taking it. No coughs, no sickened face. She is tough as nails, which even has the bartender amused. ]

Then we will continue.

[CONTINUING ALL THE SAME. Killed more people than you, seiba]

Again? Are we just going to keep doing it like this?

[invisibleair]

[ But did you ever have to kill anyone close to you? Saber won't forget those faces. ]

If you are speaking of changing the challenge it has already begun! Are you planning to withdraw?!

[ She's getting really loud the more she drinks. ]
