[ it's late evening by the time celty pulls up at thistle do nicely, parking shooter in the lot behind the flower shop. while most of the flowers have been moved to the garden where the ball will be held, some of the bigger decorations have yet to be brought over and the more extravagant flowers need to be culled to see which ones can make the cut.

taking out her device along the way, celty turns on the text-to-voice function as she enters the back storeroom where vietnam should be. what she doesn't expect is to see ki-ja there as well. there's a small pause before an automated female voice comes from her device: ]

Good evening. Forgive me for intruding, is there anything I can assist you with?

[On this current shift, Ki-ja is the strongest person Vietnam knew, aside from herself. It's nearly night and she even feels bad for keeping him here, when many others she has sent home so that they can prepare to attend the ball the next day. That and last minute Christmas presents.

She was about to turn to Ki-ja to apologise again for keeping him overtime, when Celty's automated voice was heard.]

Hello, Celty! You need not be sorry. Right now, we are just moving the bigger items to the back. [Cue Vietnam moving a tree log rather easily.] And then perhaps a break? Ki-ja, would you like a break?

[ There were many advantages to being a dragon- the White Dragon, to be exact. Not only was he sacred among his village, but the honored bestowed upon him allowed his dragon arm to lift much more than any normal person could contain. So of course when Vietnam had asked him to stay after and help, he of course had agreed despite the late hours. This "ball" that everyone was talking about seemed important, and Ki-Ja was going to do everything in his power to help...!!

However, the strange voice had briefly caught the boy off guard as he was lifting one of the heavier pots. His head turning to face the door. ]

Oh... hello, there! [ Cue a worried look to the two of you right now, because really- ] I am fine to keep going, if you wish. Please, allow me to do the rest on my own!

[helmets]

I see. I had stopped by the gardens earlier, most of the table decorations are in place. Once they set up the designated area for the dance floor, we can start on that as well.

[ oh, what a sweet boy. celty would smile if she could, but alas, she simply shakes her head, heading over to where they're working. ]

That won't do.

[ and with that she lifts a hand, black smoke seeping out to coalesce into a large ball, molding itself into a black cart. she takes the pot ki-ja was carrying, setting it on top and bringing a few more over as well. ]

You've both been working hard, let me at least make the load easier for you.

[hoasen]

Oh, wonderful! [To how everything they had planned is now in place, aside from the dance floor.] Perhaps by the time we bring the rest of these, it will be set. We can just place them as we hoped for.

[Vietnam then looks between the two, and shakes her head.] I am also fine to keep going, and it seems like there is determination here for us to generously finish our tasks. [She's so touched!]

Thank you very much, with Ki-ja's strength and Celty's power, we will be done in no time. And then have a long extended break instead.

[ ........... Alright, but did anyone else notice what just happened here? There are many strange things that Ki-Ja has witnessed, but magical carts was certainly on the top of the list.

He stumbled when the pot it taken from him, and stares with jaw nearly touching the floor as it is placed within the black cart.

How... what HOW. ]

Th- th-that just now! What kind of magic is that!?

Yes, it shouldn't be too difficult between the three of us.

[ but oh, ki-ja... you sweet summer child. celty's shoulders lift briefly in what could be silent laughter as she brings over some branches to make the arch above the entrance. ]

I'm sorry for startling you. The smoke is simply a part of me.

[ just like how his yaoi hand is a part of him too. ]

[And she's moving things over into the cart! Oh, she forgot that Ki-ja hasn't seen this before. And the lack of head.

It's actually a little amusing to see. Since this is Ki-ja, dude who is afraid of bees.]

[ Wow okay it's not the yaoi handish. HE WAS JUST BORN THIS WAY.

Also bees are scary. And caterpillars. And whatever nasty bug exists.

Although completely taken off guard, he isn't scared of it. In fact, he's rather impressed. Surprise soon turns to awe, and he'll be seen vigorously nodding his head. ]

I see, it is quite impressive! [ And this somehow gives him a spur of motivation to begin to move things quicker to the cart?? ] Come quickly now, we are almost done, then!

once the cart is full, celty starts to push it towards the lot in the back, hefting another log under one arm. ]

I think it may be easier if I start loading the van with these, my bike may not be as efficient with the amount we have. [ she doesn't want to give shooter too much of a burden. ] Do we need to bring over more flowers as well?

[She's relieved that all is well now! At least Ki-ja fears that less than...well, bugs, so.]

I am glad that us, an unusual bunch, are getting along.

That sounds like a good idea, Celty. [She looks over and does a final check.] I think other than what we are carrying now, it should be fine.
