![]() A few weeks prior to December 26th, an invitation went out to all whom already reside in Cerealia. In delicate, curling script, it read: You are cordially invited by Natalia L.K. Lanvaldear to a Winter Ball to be held on the Eve of December 26th in the Gardens. Dress in your best attire and enjoy a magical evening of dance and fine cuisine. What do you mean we should fuss about worlds being destroyed? Get into the holiday spirit, you scrooge! And in regards to the new-comers: whether you have been wandering Cerealia over the course of the past few days and managed to receive one of the later waves of invitations or have simply suddenly appeared in the gardens with nothing but the (hopefully…. appropriate….) clothes on your back, welcome. The gardens have been transformed through the work of

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post! This one is player-run and all the basics have been laid out for you here. Absolutely feel free to come up with your own prompts, I just attempted to set the scenery! For your convenience, I whole-heartedly welcome questions and inquiries being directed to my attention here and I'll answer them to the best of my ability! |

But something he says is interesting.]
Another world? Like this one? [That was the implication, it seemed. Normally, the idea of other worlds wasn't that strange (definitely not when you came from a place where travel between planets wasn't unusual), but this place... Well, the circumstances were different.
Despite the serious implications, though, he chuckles.] You sound like an unlucky guy.

[The very disgusting ringleader behind everything, had (finally, and actually) been killed before Sai arrived. Therefore the previously very consistent circumstances where people were experimented on - probably the one thing that truly shakes Sai, though for good reasons - didn't affect him in the slightest.
He just hums a bit with the latter remark.]
I dunno. Being here is just fine by me. ♥ And if all that stuff we're told is even remotely true, it's great to imagine that place being totally wiped out.
no subject
It wasn't a bad thing at all, though, far from it. People like this tended to be a lot more interesting than all the rest.]
It sounds like a place that no one would miss. I think I can relate. [Of course, Takasugi's reasons were completely different. His world was nothing like Haven, but if it was gone, he wouldn't mind that. ...mostly.] But it seems like you lucked out. This place is a vast improvement.
[Even aside from the food, there was plenty to do here. Almost too much.
...but also food. Lots of food.]
no subject
Nope! Absolutely no one. [When it comes to being here, though, it's a little different. To a degree, he couldn't care less about helping these people out, as even if his home world is destroyed, it wouldn't matter because it's no longer a place he's a part of.
. . . but on the other hand, he doesn't mind lending a hand, as he can enjoy being alive in an interesting place.]
H~eh. . . you can relate? [normally not a phrase he particularly likes, but the context is different] Are you from somewhere worthless, then?
no subject
It's a rotten place. It should have been put out of its misery a long time ago. ["Worthless" was right. In fact, it was only the start of it.] If it's really gone like they say, then those aliens have done me a big favor.
[That wasn't to say that he liked it here, though. And actually, that wasn't to say that he was quite satisfied with his world's fate, either. It felt like— unfinished business, maybe.]
no subject
True, true. Though personally I wouldn't have minded getting to play along with them. Of course, everyone else would have, too. Seeing it first-hand wouldn't have been bad.
I guess I could say the same for this place, but it's also interesting, so I don't mind sticking around for a little while.
no subject
[Takasugi had a few things he could enjoy about this place, too. Avoiding his fate and cutting his coma short was kind of nice, for one.]
But I wouldn't mind watching this place fall, either. I think that could be fun, too.
[What kind of party conversation is this...!!]
no subject
So of course, it makes for this conversation to be plenty entertaining. Of course, although Sai's own reasons behind his personal way of destroying things is a bit more a thing of the past, it doesn't mean he dislikes the thought of it all.
What an interesting person he's come to meet.]
I wonder how that might go down here, then, hm? I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest that most brought [or 'uploaded'? whichever] here are very much for doing what they can to save everything, in comparison to the opposite. The again, I really have only been here for maybe a day or two. There's still a lot I've yet to see and learn, and plenty of people I haven't met.
no subject
[It might be a bit harder than it was back home, though, that was true. The things that bound the Kiheitai were things that didn't really matter here. But surely he wasn't the only one who didn't care for the idea of leaving their fate in someone else's hands—that idea alone should be enough to inspire people to start sharpening their fangs.]
