![]() A few weeks prior to December 26th, an invitation went out to all whom already reside in Cerealia. In delicate, curling script, it read: You are cordially invited by Natalia L.K. Lanvaldear to a Winter Ball to be held on the Eve of December 26th in the Gardens. Dress in your best attire and enjoy a magical evening of dance and fine cuisine. What do you mean we should fuss about worlds being destroyed? Get into the holiday spirit, you scrooge! And in regards to the new-comers: whether you have been wandering Cerealia over the course of the past few days and managed to receive one of the later waves of invitations or have simply suddenly appeared in the gardens with nothing but the (hopefully…. appropriate….) clothes on your back, welcome. The gardens have been transformed through the work of

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post overflow! It's a bit early but just to make sure the transition for everyone over here was captcha-free. This one is player-run and all the basics have been laid out for you here. Absolutely feel free to come up with your own prompts and post new intros! For your convenience, I whole-heartedly welcome questions and inquiries being directed to my attention here and I'll answer them to the best of my ability! |

[She holds up the little red and white orb, tapping it to recall the obviously upset Exeggutor. And from another? Comes a Bellossom.]
And yes they do. They're as intelligent as people, Exeggutor more than most, and they come in many shapes and sizes.
no subject
[ Nonon stares as the Exeggutor is recalled, confused but not outright surprised by technology of that level. She's seen plenty of strange things not to too weirded out by that. Then there's a Bellossom, and Nonon looks...interested. She's already moving closer to kneel down to get a better look at it, obviously not scared or creeped out anymore. ]
People? You're kidding right? [ She's already smiling though, reaching to pet the thing. ]
no subject
No, absolutely not. They aren't capable of human vocalizations but they are extremely intelligent. They aren't...animals...I think is the word you'd use.
no subject
So they understand what you say?
no subject
[Thought that was obvious, there...]

[ Nonon is asking questions, but not even looking at Erika, no she's just going to shake the little Pokemon's hand with her finger. And silently plot taking it home with her... ]
no subject
[Like the one Exeggutor just went into. Belle wiggles her finger happily...smiling and twirling a bit.]
Sadly there aren't any here except mine.
no subject
What does it eat? How do you make more? Can you buy them in a store?
[ Obviously she's only half listening, seeing how she just repeated that question. ]
no subject
[Erika groans and stoops down to pick up Belle, who just cuddles up against her happily.]
They aren't pets. They're not bought.
no subject
[ Nonon just stands back up to glare at Erika. Rude! She likes that one. Much better than the weird tree-thing. ]
How is it not a pet?
no subject
[Erika meets her gaze levelly, nonplussed.]
And they're far more loyal once a trainer really bonds with them.
no subject
[ Nonon's glare doesn't really let up. Because that sounds like something you shouldn't do to something so cute. ]
no subject
[Incidentally, Bellossom fixes Nonon with a glare of her own. Don’t you talk to Trainer that way!]
no subject
[ Okay, it's not really anything like it, but Nonon isn't sure. ]
Ah, it's mad at me?
no subject
She likes to fight, you know. And she’s a little protective of me. Most of my Pokemon are.
no subject
So you just breed these things, and they fight people for you? Are you the only one with them?
no subject
But...I am the only one here, as far as I know, who is a trainer.
