[ The holiday break is over... Well, Horikawa wasn't actually expecting the short break; so all things considered, he's pretty satisfied. The only thing that bothered him about it was the recent event. That was something everyone can do without. However, it also served as a reminder that they are not in safe grounds. No matter how peaceful Cerealia can be, they're reminded of the fact that this is all temporary shelter. Despite the fact that they're no longer in their respective worlds, in the case of Horikawa, his mission continues on... Even now, he's still fighting. There isn't much that changed for him in the end. All he could do is move forward and continue as is.
Until another event like that happens, he's back to his new routines in this new world. So this day, he has a scheduled activity to lead the photoshoot for an upcoming magazine. This is his first project ever since being assigned as a cameraman at CERES Studios. Prior to this, all he's been doing is practice shots; his manager told him to get used to the technology first. Though now that he has, he's finally assigned real work. He isn't sure if he's excited. It's surreal enough that he's living on normally like this. It feels different from his time at the Citadel... But it's something that he needs to simply accept in order to move on. As he walks at the halls of the studio, he angles his professional camera up. Through his viewfinder, he eventually encounters a young figure having lunch by the open balcony...
Lowering the camera, his eyes focus and they meet. ]
Oh. Good day, sir.

Surely you jest. With a beautiful appearance like yours, I am sure that any angle will look good on you.
[ As if to prove that, Horikawa goes ahead and lifts his camera once more. He looks at the world through that viewfinder once again, meeting quietly aiming at this young boy before him. Youthful, confident... Yet those eyes seem as if they've witnessed a lot already. Even so, he remains innocent and vigorous. He truly is beautiful.
He pauses for a moment, staring at him for a while longer until the shot goes through. ]

[ All it did was embarrass him though. He just wants to focus on his meal. Go away, Horikawa!! Just when he was about to tell the person to come back and fetch him after their break was over, he hears the familiar click of the camera.
He blinks in confusion and then realization finally hits. ]
Hey! Don't take a picture of me while I'm eating!
[ Those are never flattering shots, especially when they are taken in surprise! ]

[ As if to prove the worth of his words, Horikawa turns the camera off and allows it to recharge while waiting for the rest of the time to pass. Before he did that though, he flipped the viewfinder to the other boy's direction just to let him see the photograph. It's just as he said, he will look good in any angle.
It might be embarrassing for the boy, but it's attractive to someone like this ancient sword. Young humans are the cutest. He gives him a reassuring, fond smile as he leans back against the wall. ]
... Ah, I am called Horikawa Kunihiro. It's good to meet you.

[ He wants to say that's illegal, but then again, this is nothing compared to what the paparazzi can do. Those people actively seek out embarrassing or awful shots to take of celebrities. Still, Gareki is itching to smash that camera into tiny bits just because this guy was already kind of ticking him off.
It's only been like what? A couple of minutes since they've met? ]
Tch... [ Without actually replying back to Horikawa's introduction, Gareki turns away and finishes up the last bit of his doughnut. ] ... Whatever.

[ He shouldn't constantly frown, especially right before a photoshoot! But despite how Horikawa didn't receive an introduction in return, the other boy still acknowledged him. For now, he supposes that's good enough. Maybe this young boy is shy.
He'll find out soon, so he'll be patient until then. Since it's about time their work will start, they should head to the studio now. It's good timing, seeing as the boy already finished eating as well. ]
Very well. Shall we go now?

[ He's been told this a lot, but his face hasn't changed at all. Acting like a rebellious kid, Gareki will continue to frown all the time, because really, there's nothing in this place that's really worth smiling for. Maybe it can happen in a rare moment... a really rare one.
There's another 'hmph' when Horikawa tells him it's time to begin work. He waits for a moment before he finally pushes himself away from the balcony. He can't delay it any longer. There's work to be done and money to be made. ]

[ Don't models normally fuss over their appearance? What a strange boy. Still, that only makes him more interesting. Horikawa looks at him with a surprised set of eyes, intrigued in knowing more about his cute co-worker. He surely must have quite a story to tell behind that rough attitude. ]
Well, I would suggest to take care of your temper regardless.
[ After all... the fanbase won't grow if people were to think that he's a jerk. ]
