What: Saleswoman Roxy helps Naegi pick out a cybuddy while also searching for the purrfect cat for herself.

[ It was some kind of miracle that Roxy hadn't already sold herself 50 cat cybuddies, but she didn't want to cram that many robots into her apartment. Plus, then people would really think she was weird. Which, sure, ok, maybe she was, but who isn't? She wanted to find the perfect one. She could never replace Frigglish or the fucktons of mutant meowbeats back home, but she could use a cat friend. Her apartment was depressing with nothing more than a green cube fort and the holographic wallpapering.

Just before noon on the 6th, Roxy shows up at the McCeres. That McCeres. Which one? The one she was talking about when she was texting Naegi. She's not on shift today at the cybuddy store, but she's pretty sure she can sell people cybuddies on or off shift.

She waits at a table drinking a small orange soda (it's awful, why is she drinking this). ]

[ Naegi, for his part, shows up more or less on time! He's just in jeans and his usual hoody, so he probably didn't get off work but came here from home. Or, well, he usually dresses nicer for work, so.

He gives a little wave as he ambles over to the table, as friendly and mild-natured as ever. ]

Hey - I'm sorry, you weren't waiting too long, were you?

[ Roxy too dresses nicer for work, rather than wearing a t-shirt and a skirt. She still wears her Rogue pajamas sometimes, but just walking around in them everyday feels a little weird. She's already getting tired of Explaining Homestuck^tm to half the people she meets. Well, tired of them being confused when she does, anyway.

She perks up when she sees Naegi approaching. ]

Nah, just a couple of minutes. You ready to hit the shop, or do you need a McCeres triple quarter burger to get some lard in your bloodstream first?
