Opening Night [OPEN]
Who: Nonon Jakuzure and anyone who's interested in classical music, saw her post, or was invited by her. Feel free to tag around too and meet other people in their beautiful formal wear~!
When: Some Friday after her post.
Where: Opera House
What: Nonon has been working with the opera house's orchestra, and being the controlling girl she is, decided to stage a few concerts. Formal dress is expected. Nui Harime interrupts and kisses Nonon.
Rating/Warning: None likely.
It's opening night, and there's a nice big display board in front of the opera house announcing the first performance of Nonon Jakuzure conducting the house orchestra. Even with a little stylized depiction of Nonon with her signature pink hair and smug grin.
Formal dress is expected, though some people might be able to sneak inside in casual wear, just don't let Nonon catch you. She's going to be in the front of the house though, inside past the ticket booths where people can pick up tickets set aside for them ahead of time, if Nonon had done so. Of course, it's about as analogue as you can imagine, Nonon wasn't about to use the Cerevices to do ticketing, that just isn't classical, it would ruin the entire mood. No, she wants lines and printed tickets.
After greeting any friends or acquaintances the lights in the hall lower once, then twice, signalling the start. She disappears into the back, only to reappear on stage under a bright spotlight with the loud, almost deafening sound of a whistle.
"Entrance March! Under the Double Eagle!" She waves a large pink baton this way then back again. "Now, prepare for a jaunty, thrilling, and mind-blowing performance!"
She's dressed in a flashy conductor's outfit, and proceeds to lead the orchestra into their first song. The rest of more standard affairs of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, music people might have heard if they are from Earth, or somewhere vaguely Earth-like. In general it's not actually that long of a concert, no more than an hour and a half or so, with a short intermission. She wants to hit people with the loudest, most impressive sort of music she can, leaving them wanting more.
Sometime towards the end of the performance, the lights go out completely, only to return with a spotlight on one adorable blonde girl giggling. She invades the stage as if she belongs there, striding right up to Nonon to give her a kiss on the conductor's angry, shocked face, before floating away impossibly. Holding in her anger, Nonon wipes her lips with the back of her hand, blushing furiously, and proceeds with the last song after yelling at Nui Harime, something about getting even with her.
By the end she'll be hanging around the stage, meeting anyone who wishes to speak to her, and then going backstage to change if certain close relations wish to meet her there. She expects flowers to be thrown though of course, maybe even a standing ovation~.
[ ooc: Feel free to run into her whenever! And the date is kinda nebulous, just assume after the latest event. If you have any questions PM me or hit me up on plurk at

[ She stomps her foot a little, the whole exchange getting laughs from the crowd, some people probably seeing it as a kind of manzai routine. ]

[ Nonon watches the bouquet fall, and bends down to pick it up, holding it against her chest, waving to the audience and bowing. The curtain falls and the lights go up, signalling the end of the show, as people start to fill out the back. But it means that friends and interested parties can come speak to the performers. ]

Nonon-san!! That was soooo good!!

She puts her hands up in front of her in a dramatic display, trying to make sure he doesn't touch her... though he obviously could hug her if he really wanted, she's tiny. ]
W-What are you crying for? I know it was good, but you don't need to start the waterworks..
no subject
Ah... Nonon-san, please don't worry! These are just tears of joy!! They reflect how my heart and soul were touched by your music. S-so I am very grateful!! [Now he thumbs up at her!]
no subject
Jeez... well... thanks. I'm glad you made it to see it in person. Classical music is best listened to live and in a concert hall after all.

It's a wonderful experience, getting to be on stage, the person everyone is looking at, in charge of an orchestra that moves people's hearts. How does that answer your question?
no subject
no subject
Of course. I'll make sure you're invited to the next big show. Maybe even an opera in the near future.
[ At least he isn't asking about Nui too. ]
no subject
Thank you! I would be honored by any invitation like that! [He bows his head.] Ah... But excuse me for asking. What is an opera like?!
no subject
Do they seriously not even have opera where you're from? From about musicals? Plays? Movies? Radios?
no subject
I have spent much of my youth training and have not explored as much entertainment as I should! But... I do know that plays exist!
...Ah! But is this not like the 'soap opera' that is on the television?!
no subject
[ Mild amount of judging. Especially when he doesn't know about operas vs soap operas! ]
Of course not! Soap operas are just trashy romance stories where everyone just has amnesia! Operas are live theater, played by an orchestra like mine, where actors sing in costume and tell an epic story!
no subject
I-is that so?! But they're so moving and dramatic! This opera still sounds fascinating... like a play with music?!
no subject
[ She just shakes her head. ]
Yes. Something like that. Though the singing is often the most important part.
no subject
I see. Thank you for educating me about this as well! Singing... I think I need to train myself in singing!
no subject
[ Not that she has a problem with it. She's actually kind of... impressed with him. ]
You want to learn to sing? Well, then it's only natural that I'd be the one to take you under my wing and teach you music right? Since we're friends?
no subject
[Lee gives a proud smile.]
Ah... If you would like to teach me such a thing, I would be honored, Nonon-san!
no subject
I can't teach you much about vocals, but I can be in charge of your general music curriculum, and I could help you find a vocal coach. If you're going to do this though you should make sure you are doing it with 100% of your effort.
[ As if she would believe Rock Lee would ever go 50%. ]
no subject
Ah... I see! I appreciate any amount of help you can give me! And please don't worry... I would like give this 110... no, 150 percent of my effort!! You can count on me! [He gives her an enthusiastic thumbs up.]

Good. I don't take music lightly, and I won't allow for anyone else to do so either. Just call me sometime when you feel you're ready to start, and I'll begin.
[ She waves her hand to a small group of girls mulling around waiting.. ]
For now, I need to sign a few more autographs, I'm sure we'll talk again later.
no subject
He nods very eagerly.]
Yes! I will be sure to stay in contact, Nonon-san! [He bows to her.]
Thank you again for this performance... and please enjoy your fans!
