Opening Night [OPEN]
Who: Nonon Jakuzure and anyone who's interested in classical music, saw her post, or was invited by her. Feel free to tag around too and meet other people in their beautiful formal wear~!
When: Some Friday after her post.
Where: Opera House
What: Nonon has been working with the opera house's orchestra, and being the controlling girl she is, decided to stage a few concerts. Formal dress is expected. Nui Harime interrupts and kisses Nonon.
Rating/Warning: None likely.
It's opening night, and there's a nice big display board in front of the opera house announcing the first performance of Nonon Jakuzure conducting the house orchestra. Even with a little stylized depiction of Nonon with her signature pink hair and smug grin.
Formal dress is expected, though some people might be able to sneak inside in casual wear, just don't let Nonon catch you. She's going to be in the front of the house though, inside past the ticket booths where people can pick up tickets set aside for them ahead of time, if Nonon had done so. Of course, it's about as analogue as you can imagine, Nonon wasn't about to use the Cerevices to do ticketing, that just isn't classical, it would ruin the entire mood. No, she wants lines and printed tickets.
After greeting any friends or acquaintances the lights in the hall lower once, then twice, signalling the start. She disappears into the back, only to reappear on stage under a bright spotlight with the loud, almost deafening sound of a whistle.
"Entrance March! Under the Double Eagle!" She waves a large pink baton this way then back again. "Now, prepare for a jaunty, thrilling, and mind-blowing performance!"
She's dressed in a flashy conductor's outfit, and proceeds to lead the orchestra into their first song. The rest of more standard affairs of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, music people might have heard if they are from Earth, or somewhere vaguely Earth-like. In general it's not actually that long of a concert, no more than an hour and a half or so, with a short intermission. She wants to hit people with the loudest, most impressive sort of music she can, leaving them wanting more.
Sometime towards the end of the performance, the lights go out completely, only to return with a spotlight on one adorable blonde girl giggling. She invades the stage as if she belongs there, striding right up to Nonon to give her a kiss on the conductor's angry, shocked face, before floating away impossibly. Holding in her anger, Nonon wipes her lips with the back of her hand, blushing furiously, and proceeds with the last song after yelling at Nui Harime, something about getting even with her.
By the end she'll be hanging around the stage, meeting anyone who wishes to speak to her, and then going backstage to change if certain close relations wish to meet her there. She expects flowers to be thrown though of course, maybe even a standing ovation~.
[ ooc: Feel free to run into her whenever! And the date is kinda nebulous, just assume after the latest event. If you have any questions PM me or hit me up on plurk at

But since Nonon opened up the dialogue... ]
--Your first? Like, ever?
[ This is the part where one would expect her to ask "what's it like", but... you know... ]
no subject
Yeah, so what?! I was busy, I never had time for romance! Our plans were too important.
[ She just looks at Ryuko with a slight tint to her face, as if studying the other girl... in her glasses. ]
I've had plenty of confessions, you know. Girls would always give me chocolates, or leave me letters in my locker. I just always turned them down.
no subject
Such a charmer. Bet you wish it had been one of those girls now, huh?
no subject
But the hand on her shoulder, the glasses, the talking about kisses with Ryuko, makes her grow redder. ]
J-Just forget it! [ She pushes Ryuko's arm away, unable to hide just how strange it made her feel, focusing on the performance. ]
Yeah, the performance went well, especially for an opening night. Almost a full house too.

[ Or pieces. She doesn't know all this terminology, ok.
She says it with a strangely genuine smile, however, despite being reminded of the first time they duked it out back home. It's probably because this seems important to Nonon. She feels as if she should comment more on the show, but any discussion about fine music is just lost on Ryuko Matoi.
And since talk of Nui Harime is forbidden, Ryuko wonders what else there is to say about it. ... Oh! ]
And the conductor outfit was kinda cute.
[ To be fair, she did pay more attention to Nonon than the music, so she knows what she's talking about. ]

[ She tries to sound like she's kidding, but yeah she's still bitter about that fight a little!! She still is annoyed that her kamui could just beat her like that, suddenly learning how to fly. ..But she also grew stronger because of her fight with Ryuko, so there's not too much that she blames Ryuko for.
But bringing up her outfit, calling it cute, really isn't doing much for Nonon's complexion, or her budding feelings for Ryuko. Not that she realizes that's what that is yet. No, she's pretty much convinced there's zero possibility she could ever be interested in Ryuko that way. She's had to have that thought because of those gossip columns after all. ]
Y-Yeah well... [ Blushing, slightly embarrassed, she tries to think of a better response. ] I wanted to make sure I would turn heads and be the center of attention.
no subject
[ Nonon certainly attracted attention from the worst person possible, which reminds Ryuko that she should be looking for her soon. ]
So I guess this is it, then? The part where everyone is expected to go home?
no subject
[ It's supposed to be a bad joke. That's all it is. She doesn't do what she does for romantic attraction. Just the regular kind that comes with being famous. So she quickly changes the subject. Or tries to. ]
I'm sure you want to get out of here before your roommate sees you? ...She called me you know.
no subject
But I know she called. I... we talked about it last night. She knows everything so you don't gotta lie about the camp anymore.
no subject
Ignoring the Athena part for the moment, she'll get to that. ]

[ This is the dumbest fight ever. ]

[ Nonon leans in angrily at the other girl... staring into her eyes as if trying to intimidate her. But she's not actually all that mad. Because why would she care even care about this subject matter?
So in the end it's Nonon that breaks contact first, a bright red shine to her cheeks, as a thought popped into her head. ]
I like you in glasses. I mean, it's a good look for you. [ She tries to diffuse the situation by complimenting her back. ]
no subject
When she hears the compliment, she awkwardly adjusts the glasses as she averts her look as well. ]
Well, don't get used to 'em.
no subject
Honestly, she's just never had friends outside those four, Iori, and Satsuki. She kept her distance from her girls in her club for her own reasons.
But now, with things feeling weird, Nonon thinks it's a good time to end this. ]
I should probably make another appearance by the stage, and help close up here. You can head back without me.

[ Ryuko steels herself, ready to resume her original mission: finding Nui Harime. She can easily flip from the awkward not-flirting to having her head back in the game again. Her interactions with Nonon hadn't been that strange to her so far, but that's because she doesn't think about these things too deeply and just goes with the flow of things. ]
I might be home late, there's someone else I gotta catch up with.
no subject
[ Somehow Nonon manages to mix both a nice thing for Ryuko and something demanding. It makes it feel easier to be nicer to her if she immediately follows up with something curt. But she nods in response, not knowing what Ryuko means, but not sure it matters much to her, even if she's slightly interested. ]
...And thanks for coming, Matoi.
