Opening Night [OPEN]
Who: Nonon Jakuzure and anyone who's interested in classical music, saw her post, or was invited by her. Feel free to tag around too and meet other people in their beautiful formal wear~!
When: Some Friday after her post.
Where: Opera House
What: Nonon has been working with the opera house's orchestra, and being the controlling girl she is, decided to stage a few concerts. Formal dress is expected. Nui Harime interrupts and kisses Nonon.
Rating/Warning: None likely.
It's opening night, and there's a nice big display board in front of the opera house announcing the first performance of Nonon Jakuzure conducting the house orchestra. Even with a little stylized depiction of Nonon with her signature pink hair and smug grin.
Formal dress is expected, though some people might be able to sneak inside in casual wear, just don't let Nonon catch you. She's going to be in the front of the house though, inside past the ticket booths where people can pick up tickets set aside for them ahead of time, if Nonon had done so. Of course, it's about as analogue as you can imagine, Nonon wasn't about to use the Cerevices to do ticketing, that just isn't classical, it would ruin the entire mood. No, she wants lines and printed tickets.
After greeting any friends or acquaintances the lights in the hall lower once, then twice, signalling the start. She disappears into the back, only to reappear on stage under a bright spotlight with the loud, almost deafening sound of a whistle.
"Entrance March! Under the Double Eagle!" She waves a large pink baton this way then back again. "Now, prepare for a jaunty, thrilling, and mind-blowing performance!"
She's dressed in a flashy conductor's outfit, and proceeds to lead the orchestra into their first song. The rest of more standard affairs of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, music people might have heard if they are from Earth, or somewhere vaguely Earth-like. In general it's not actually that long of a concert, no more than an hour and a half or so, with a short intermission. She wants to hit people with the loudest, most impressive sort of music she can, leaving them wanting more.
Sometime towards the end of the performance, the lights go out completely, only to return with a spotlight on one adorable blonde girl giggling. She invades the stage as if she belongs there, striding right up to Nonon to give her a kiss on the conductor's angry, shocked face, before floating away impossibly. Holding in her anger, Nonon wipes her lips with the back of her hand, blushing furiously, and proceeds with the last song after yelling at Nui Harime, something about getting even with her.
By the end she'll be hanging around the stage, meeting anyone who wishes to speak to her, and then going backstage to change if certain close relations wish to meet her there. She expects flowers to be thrown though of course, maybe even a standing ovation~.
[ ooc: Feel free to run into her whenever! And the date is kinda nebulous, just assume after the latest event. If you have any questions PM me or hit me up on plurk at

Her warning is a little surprising, but considering everything, it makes sense. ]
...What is she capable of?
no subject
Anything. She'll kill just because she thinks it's funny. There's no controlling her. As cute as she is, she's a monster.
[ She already had to warn someone else about Nui. And as nice as Kyouko is, and apparently skilled in detective work, Nonon guesses she isn't a fighter. ]
...And we're definitely not dating or anything like that. [ That whole kiss... ]
no subject
[ She's already had someone in her life that destroyed everything in her path, and Kyouko doesn't want another. ]
...So she was trying to get a rise out of you, then?
no subject
Yeah, and it nearly worked. I wanted to kill her, but I couldn't start a fight on stage and get the audience involved. People would have gotten hurt who didn't deserve it.
[ ...Like Kyouko and others. ]
no subject
You made the correct decision. I'm impressed that you managed to perfectly finish the concert.
[ Most people wouldn't be able to, that's for sure. ]
no subject
[ She doesn't mean because Matoi is dating Nonon....... even though the papers, if Kyouko has been reading them, have been very much making it sound like they were together. ]
no subject
Matoi? Is that a friend?
no subject
I guess you could call her that. We were enemies before, but now that we're fighting on the same side, and that I found out she's my best friend's sister we've been trying to get along a little better..
[ And crushing on her... despite the fact that Nonon doesn't realize that. ]
no subject
Fighting on the same side can bring people together, despite differences.
no subject
[ Nonon was the bad guy here, but she doesn't like to admit that. ]
What about your friends from your school? Kuzuryuu went there too, you must know him?
no subject
But Nonon told her about her friend, it's only fair she tells the truth back. ]
...I didn't know him until I came here. I don't recall meeting him at school. [ Much less remember school at all. ]
no subject
Well, I heard there's more from your school here, right? Is there someone you do know?
no subject
Still, she doesn't know if she's completely ready to go into any detail. ]
Yes. Naegi-kun. We arrived at around the same time.
no subject
Haven't heard of him. It's better than not knowing anyone right? I was mad at first, that it was Matoi here and not her sister, my best friend. It still hurts to think that she's out there somewhere and I'm here with Matio instead, eating chinese food in my apartment together. But having someone is better than no one.
no subject
...I got lucky. Out of all my classmates, Naegi-kun is the one I trust the most. [ A pause. ] There is Kuwata-kun as well, but I don't know him nearly as well.
[ Mostly because he was the first one executed but her statement still stands. ]
no subject
[ There's a tinge of jealousy, but Nonon waves her hand in the air as if she were trying to dissipate that thought. ]
I'd like to meet him sometime. What were their specialty that got them into the school?
no subject
...Naegi-kun is Super High School Level Luck. His luck, however, is not very good. [ There's a small pause as she decides whether or not to say more but— ] A more appropriate title would be Super High School Level Hope.
[ It's strange talking about her classmates so casually after everything that happened, but it's actually a nice feeling. ]
no subject
[ How little she knows. Plus dying by them is a good reason to hate them doubly so. ]
...That's not real is it? Why the hell would they give someone that title?
no subject
[ And honestly she'd be happy to never see him in a room with baseballs ever again. ]
Luck? It's given to whoever wins the drawing each year. Winning a drawing to get into a school like Hope's Peak is extremely lucky. [ Or not, considering what happened. ]
no subject
[ Nonon let out a little laugh, trying to lighten the mood. Because... it doesn't seem like Kyouko's face is getting any better. ]
Well, I can understand the meaning behind that. Obviously someone accepted at your school must have all the opportunities in life, if it's as good as you say it is.
[ She waves her hand a little, ever expressive and grand in her actions. ] There's no need to talk about your school if you don't want.
no subject
[ She truly appreciates Nonon's attempt at trying to lighten the mood, especially when she tells Kyouko she doesn't need to say anymore. Kyouko glances at her, a small smile forming. ]
It's alright. I actually don't remember most of my time at school. [ As for the parts she does remember... That's probably best saved for another time. She still hasn't processed everything that happened. ]
no subject
...Amnesia? [ She's not sure what else would cause something like that. ]
no subject
[ But she can't really get into that without talking about everything else. ]
...It's a long story, for a different time and place. [ That doesn't mean she won't tell Nonon, though. She just needs time. ]
no subject
It's fine, I'm not about to tell you my life story either, not yet anyway. But I should probably go speak to a few more people before I change and head home. So thanks for coming, I'm glad you could come enjoy the music.
no subject
[ She appreciates Nonon understanding, nodding to her and giving her a smile. ]
I enjoyed myself. Thank you for inviting me.
