[ A - closed to Rock Lee, Fuuka and Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki]
[ Those who knows Naruto and Rock Lee probably already knew that they worked at a ramen shop alongside several others. And since it's winter, business has been quite busy with the amount of people that frequents this place on a daily basis. Of course, there's the matter of the fact that there's a rival udon shop nearby and the rivalry between the two owners are just as bad as usual. Naturally this meant that the ramen shop currently is trying a new strategy:

Well, they would, if they actually have an idea, so right now they're just sitting there at the back of the store during the lull between afternoon and night: ]

Right, so we're all here today because of something important.

[ Naruto says with a tone that's clearly him trying to sound adult. ]

We gotta get more customers if we want to show that other old man up, and well, it's a good way to get to know each other too, so! I'm going to start by proposing we get ourselves a mascot!

[ ah. ]

[ B - OTA with Mutsu, Fuuka, Rock Lee and ??? ]
[ While the ideas they got from the earlier discussion haven't been exactly penned down yet, that doesn't mean business is stopping, as most of the workers here are doing their best to promote this shop!

There's Rock Lee, the ever paragon of youth who happened to be wearing a large sign over his jumpsuit which has an advertisement for the store on it. He will run up to people passing by and shout right at them, "PLEASE EAT HERE!" like. Right in your face. And with an enthusiastic smile to boot. And maybe some of the time it comes complete with a thumbs up too. Either ways, his loud yelling is definitely... attention grabbing.

Enthusiastic as always, Mutsu is passing out flyers advertising the new specials. He’s also making conversation with some of the people walking by, trying to reel them in with merchant charm. Who wouldn't say no to such a darling face as he tries to offer you such delicious items like strawberry ramen or ice cream ramen! You won't know until you try it after all! (Ha...)

And then there's Fuuka, lord knows she tries, but compared to the other two advertisers, she's a bit more quiet as she tries to coax the customers. Well, she does have a certain charm that these two loud man lacks, and she definitely is trying really hard right now to persuade one customer to try and eat the "Predator Ramen", which is um... Well, let's just say it's alien in nature and leave it at that, haha!

Though, the usual face of the group, a certain blonde haired ninja is missing. What's there in his place is... something waddling around the shopping district with a sign that clearly points to the ramen shop...

Yeah. ]

[ Ramen and orange juice though?? Would that make a good combination? Only Athena will be able to tell. ]

( Living on the edge! He doesn't even think about the combination because, honestly, that isn't the strangest thing he's heard all day. He might have learned about "predator" earlier today. )

One curry ramen and one orange juice coming right up! ( And.... he's dashing off. It looks like he might take out some tables and another server in the process but he made it... SOmeone tell this sword to slow down before he spills something. A few minutes later, he's back with the drink. Obviously, the ramen will take a while to prepare. Setting it down, he grins, ) It's good ta see ya again, Athena-san.

[ Ah, Mutsu is so cheerful and energetic... if he gets any more so, that energy might transfer to Athena while they're near each other and end up being louder as usual. Nobody wants that.

She waits and talks to Lee and the others while her food is being prepared, and perks up again when the ramen is offered to her. ]

Yeah! I'm glad to see you again, and I'm actually standing on my own two feet now. No injuries, either.

Ya're grumpy friend too? ( What was his name again? he remembers it... Ah! ) Simon, right?

Sorry, I didn't really hang around...

( He was kind of running around all over the place and after he'd come back, he'd been preoccupied with staying close to Haru. )

Everyone's okay too?

Simon's fine, and grumpy as usual. [ Mutsu might have said all those a bit too seriously, but Athena thinks it's funny. Simon can be scary, and grump, and a partypooper. . . it's true. ]

My friends are all fine now. Although one of them is missing. [ And she lifts a hand to wave it around dismissively. She doesn't need Mutsu worrying about that. ] But it's fine. I'll get him back here even if it's the last thing I do.

[newtimes]

( He's so serious. But he doesn't mean it in a malicious way, at least. Simon is just "the grumpy friend." Mutsu's honest, okay. Maybe... to honest... some times. )

Missing? ( He's still new and he hasn't personally experienced anyone disappearing on him yet. ... Not that he knows of. Ah, wait, don't move on like that... but if she doesn't want to talk about it?! Is this a dilemma. ) I mean... ya'll find them!

I really will!

[ There's a bit of pessimism in that statement, but she covers it up easily with the smile on her face. She can't show anybody that she can often be weak-willed at times, after all. Not when people have been looking up to her for support. ]

I'll even bring him to this place when he's back.

That's all the more reason to keep coming back! So ya can help him decide what ta get!

( He doesn't really understand but he can still try to keep her spirits up. If she wants to talk, she'll talk! Until then, he'll try to make things a little easier. )

Ya'll be a ramen expert in no time.

I'm actually trying to learn about Japanese culture, so being a ramen expert's a good thing!

[ Ah, but then she pouts. ]

Learning how to write in Kanji is so difficult, though. There's one character that even looks like an elephant. [ What??? ] Learning Italian, French, and German was a lot easier.

( He's honestly about to say something about learning kanji but

Those are western languages...

His eyes light up and judging by the shocked expression on his face? Dang, gurl, you impressive. )

Ya know all of those? And ya're trying to learn more too?

Weeeell, [ She gives him a beaming smile. ] I travelled a lot in Europe while I was studying. I was an exchange student for most of my school days, so I had to learn some foreign languages so I could communicate with people better.

But my mom loved Japan! In fact, our house was filled with Japanese culture trinkets, like a Noh mask, and a samurai sword. So I want to get to know its culture better.

Ya did?! ( Travel across Europe, that is. ) That would explain why ya know so much then! But what was it like? What did ya see?

( He's never seen the west-- only read things before and, only most recently, seen photographs and videos. )

I mean, Japan's really great too! ( He loves his country, okay. ) But I've never been to the west before!

[ She nods briskly, and clicks her necklace's pendant.

Using her gloved hand, she draws a circle in the air right in front of her. Blue holographic lights appear as she traces a curve in the air, and once the circle is done, a blue smiley face appears. It looks like Widget's face.

The giant smiley face disappears shortly after, turning into what looks like a desktop screen. She clicks on one of the icons to reveal a gallery, and she scrolls past some pictures of her in cosplay (sorry you had to see that, Mutsu) to show her pictures in Europe. ]

Ah, I was in London there, look! This is the London Eye, and Big Ben...
