What: Four and One find an apartment to elopelive in together. Messing with technology ensured.

[ Four was still irritated, a sensation as hot as fire bubbling in the back of her throat as she walked alongside One. The reveal of being brought from a different timeline along with the fact that she was killed by Zero still gave her the strong desire to grab her dear sister by her face and use those ugly, useless nails of hers to tear it away. But strangely enough it wouldn't be so much in anger as much as it would be in absolute joy; One had failed, admitted to it, and even apologized for not being able to do anything.

But, admittedly, that wasn't enough, and Four being the hardworking and "caring" little sister that she was came up with the suggestion that the two of them might as well share an apartment together. It was convenient and it would keep the two of them close, she said, and was surprised when One easily agreed to it. ]

One nee-sama! [ Playing that same act she managed to perfect, Four's tone rings with excitement.

God does she hope that it hurts when the sound of her voice vibrates into her eardrums, even if it's just a small bit of pain. ]

How do we know which one we should pick? None of the doors open unless we use this card, I believe...

[ Which means they only have one shot. Don't mess this up, One. ]

[ One finds it a little hard to talk to her sister like nothing happened. She feels like things are stinted on her part, and how can it not? She was the single reason for things spiraling down, for the death of her loved ones, for the.. ]

Hm?

[ ..She snaps out of her thoughts through the sound of Four's voice, head moving to look at her younger sister. Her voice always did grab her attention, and if it isn't because she's her sister, it's likely because of her hearing. It hurts a little, but she won't complain. ]

Correct. They all look the same at first glance.

[ Well, if it's the two of them, she thinks it should be okay if they end up with a big one. But that entirely depends on whether they're okay with living expenses being cut short in the stead of a good place to live.. ]

It's a gamble, no matter how you look at it.

[ Four doesn't so much mind that considering she was never the sister to ask for much. Thankfully Five wasn't here or all their money would have been thrown right out the window by now. ]

Then... I think One nee-sama should choose.

[ So if she ends up getting a smaller room Four can backflip out of there. ]

[ Somehow, she finds that kind of answer to be expected from someone like Four. So she doesn't protest, instead looking to the vast selection of rooms ready to be picked.

She walks ahead of her, surveying the doors for a brief moment until she moves a door on her right. She uses her card to unlock it, taking the time to look at Four before walking inside.

At first glance, it isn't too big nor too small. Luckily, they weren't stuck with one of the expensive suites like some other people in this place. And while it looks fairly plain, only with the bare necessities in sight, it shouldn't be too much of a problem for the both of them. ]

Will this suffice?

[ wow one you couldn't get us an expensive suite we're intoners not some basic bitches ]

It looks perfect! [ She says as she steps inside. While it's certainly not very spacious, it was enough for the two of them. ] It's not small, but it looks like it will be easy for us to keep it clean while we're here.

[ She nods. ]

And it'll be like old times, don't you think? Except it will just be us..

[ well four idk can you HANDLE the responsibility of an apartment to begin with? questions one thinks about daily ]

Yes... [ She watches Four silently, momentarily content with the joy her sister displays. She doesn't immediately focus in on the devices present that she's never seen before. ] ...just like old times.

[ It's Four's words that have her attention, giving her that faraway look in her eyes. ]

...It seems like so long ago.

[ She had to clean after Five and Three, she can handle that sort of responsibility. ]

Doesn't it? I look back at those times, too.. when it was the six of us. [ But even those times weren't exactly good for Four, either, but that was certainly her own opinion. ]

But it's fine, I'm sure we'll make it feel like home. Even if it's just the two of us!

[ Because despite her own personal grudge against One, she's at least gotten to stay in the room with a sister that likes just a bit. ]

[ One thought they were as good as the situation allowed, what with them being Intoners. While their lives were never free of conflict, they at least had each other.

She could do without Zero, to be frank, so that six automatically turns into a five.

She nods slightly, agreeing with her sister, as she walks a little further into the apartment. ]

It would be nice if we could have more days like this.

[ Four could do without everyone with the exception One (or maybe Zero, too, but who knows).. because even if it's just the two of them, it's already proving that they would be happy without the rest.

Yes.

Just two was fine.

Her with someone that she actually enjoys. ]

Maybe we will! Maybe Two nee-sama and Three nee-sama might show up.. Five, too! [ She gives her sister a smile. ] So let's just hope for the best.

Let's see if we can still call it that [ "the best" ] after they do show up.

[ While having two is fine, there is some concern about the possibility of the remaining sisters being brought back-- or worse, from the dead-- now that she speaks of it.

Spells of that nature never bode well, and she can only imagine how they'd attempt it in this world. ]

.. Would you rather them not come?

[ Because she's not really worrying about the process of them being brought here. They're all "coding", at the end of the day, so the next thing she thinks is that One might have similar thoughts.

Her heart pounds, almost in excitement, but she forces her lips to stay in a straight line instead of forming into a smile. ]

[ To be frank, she kind of expected meeting her sisters when they were all dead. But of course that's implying that the afterlife is even a real concept to begin with, but it was a comforting thought in light of the events that transpired.

She stays quiet for a few moments, looking elsewhere as she decides on her answer. ]

I don't know. Perhaps, if things weren't so complicated, I'd be inclined to say yes.

I'm.. sure that even with the complications, things would still be the same. [ With one exception, of course: ] The five us would be just fine, at least.

[envisaged]

[ Hopefully. That much is said with the way she looks at Four. ]

...We would need a bigger place.

Surely they'll let us change rooms so long as we work hard.

[ And if not that's just going to go into her overfilling bucket of complaints. ]

But for now we should focus on decorating.. in my opinion I think we should keep it simple. If we have too much it'll end up making a mess in the future, I'm sure. [ Like if Five was here. Yuck. ]

[ It'd be irrational for them to deny the switch to begin with, so all she does is nod. ]

Good thinking, Four. [ It'd make moving out easier if the others came. Although she's not sure if she's really ready for that.. ] We can go looking for decorations to put around when we're both free.

Alright, that sounds fantastic! [ There's a childish joy in her tone, but she smiles cheerfully almost immediately. ]

I'm so glad, One nee-sama, I really missed living with you.

[ Still punishing herself over everything, One finds it a little hard to believe she deserves Four's kindness.

So she pauses, unsure of how to react between the sudden watering of her eyes and this suffocating feeling in her chest. ]

Yes, I.. missed this, too.

[ She could have sworn she felt her heart skip a beat when she sees the way One's eyes water. It stop beating completely, but she only realizes this after she takes in a single breath that she's been holding in for so long, and almost instantly her heart began pounding again. This time out of absolute delight in seeing One like this, and int he back of her mind she was practically throwing her hands up in the air with joy. ]

One nee-sama.. [ She advances slowly, almost hesitantly, but ultimately she manages to wrap her arms around One's shoulders and hold her in a tight embrace. ] There's no need to cry, everything is alright now.

[ Her voice is calm in contrast to the raging whirlwind of excitement that builds in her chest. It's like someone was taking her heart and gripping it with their bare hands, and yet it was a pleasant feeling that she practically welcomed with open arms. Seeing One like this, hearing her like this, breathing in every second of this moment was enough to intoxicate her. ]

We'll live together from now on.. I promise.

[ Admittedly, the embrace makes her feel uncomfortable. Severely so, combined with the pressure and the tickling of Four's hair on her face and her smell. She endures it, because she knows she's just doing what she thinks is right.

She didn't intend to cry, and she doesn't-- Four's embrace reminds her that she can't be showing weakness like this, even in front of family. Which is why she wills her tears away, enduring through it until she thinks she's fine. ]

I.. I know.

[ There's plenty to cry about, but there's no use shoving it on her little sister. One's arm hesitantly wrap themselves around Four's frame, breathes quiet. ]
