Where: On the streets and in the CERES games center!
What: Now Senkimaru is here, he's gotten the honorable duty of having to babysit Shuu as the latter drags him all across town and forces him to have fun. Whether said fun will be had in the first place is still up in the air. Demons that are not even vaguely cool hanging out, basically.
Rating/Warning: Other than general shitbaby behaviour from Shuu there should be nothing to warn for!

[ You're probably just going about your day, all nice and quiet and with a great lack of Santas or anything else trying to kill you. A perfect day.

Except it's about to be ruined. Since there's the human demon equivalent of a bulldozer on the streets right now - aka an enthusiastic Shuu dragging a poor soul around as he runs excitedly towards their destination, prattling on about the games they're going to play (while said poor soul - Senkimaru - more or less puts up with it).

But it also means he's not even remotely looking where he's going, so it's very likely he'll just barrel straight into you, with enough speed to send both you and himself tumbling to the ground. Whoops. Looks like it's time for Senkimaru to be damage control.. ]

b - ceres games center;
[ Even those who are trying to enjoy some games in the hall full of flashing lights aren't saved the menace that is Two Demons... or rather one overly annoying and loud demon and one that's somewhat reluctant to be here to begin with. Doubtlessly Shuu's already been dragging his taller friend around to play a lot of the games, but apparently he still needs some help with something, since he's definitely approaching you here and dragging the other along. ]

He-y.. my friend is such an old man that I don't know what kind of games would be fun for him.. you can help him out with having fun, right?

[ DON'T JUST FORCE THAT ON OTHER PEOPLE WITH A SMILE, SHUU.. also yes, he's casually insulting Senkimaru over here. No big deal. They do it all the time. ]

[ At least Shuu is having a less bad time with it. Demons heal easily, after all, and they're stronger to begin with - so even if that fact might actually make the fall worse for IV, it's actually a lot easier for Shuu. The whining noise that comes from him is more because of the annoyance at being sent rolling around like this than real pain.

Slowly raising his head from his human cushion, he glances down only to discover it's actually that annoying guy from the party.. well, serves him right. Shuu sure isn't going to apologize - in fact, he doesn't even really climb off the other, he only moves up to sit right on top of him. ]

Humans sure are clumsy...

[ Sorry to everyone involved in this situation, honestly. ]

[Why was Senkimaru not even surprised that this was happening? Shuu had been way too enthusiastic - and that all day long already, if he was honest. Where his friend did get that energy from he doesn't know.

Anyways, it was time to do some damage control. When did he gain a job as a babysitter?]

Shuu, you were the one who ran into him.

[ There's no way he can forget this annoying guy. IV's eyes snap open at the familiar voice, and he balls his hands into fists at his side while he attempts to sit upright. It's difficult to prop himself up on his elbows when there's a juvenile sitting on him. ]

You're the clumsy one here . . . Get off!

[ Now if only that voice of reason would take this demon off of him, that'd be great. ]

[ This whole situation is a mess and terrible for everyone involved.. other than Shuu, anyway, who seems perfectly content with his current position on the other man's ribcage. What a comfortable seat, he should have tried this way earlier. ]

Hmm, what's that..? [ Yeah, sorry, Senkimaru, he's totally ignoring you when you're trying to be the boring voice of reason right now. Instead he's looking down at IV with a smile. ] I can't hear you very clearly like this!

[ He looks like he's on the verge of giggling like a little kid. ]

[Why did Shuu have to make everything hard? What did he expect when Shuu had asked him to hang out with him? Senkimaru isn't entirely sure, but he wasn't too surprised about this scenario.]

Don't ignore me and get up. Or is that your idea of spending a fun time with me?

[Then again, it was typical for Shuu to just look after his own fun.

Sorry IV, Senkimaru won't drag Shuu off of him, he hasn't grown that much into the babysitter role just yet. Even if Shuu liked to pretend he's a 5-years old sometimes.]

Stop messing around and –

[ Actions speak louder than words. IV reaches up to shove Shuu off of him, snarling over his humiliating predicament. What Senkimaru says is like a beacon of hope, but it would be all the better if he could expedite the outcome by removing the offending demon himself.

This guy's hanging out with this five-year-old demon for fun? ]

[ Everyone is questioning Senkimaru's choice in friends, at least that's a solid conclusion being reached right here.

And despite the verbal force from Senkimaru (at least he's not using his power, that would actually work) and the physical force of IV, Shuu is not moving for another two moments. Instead he calmly pulls a paper crane out of nowhere, bouncing it from one hand to the other in a way that he knows IV won't understand, but Senkimaru will get. ]

Geez, this isn't fun at all..

[ So with a sigh - since this is obviously so bothersome for him, he slowly gets up from his IV-shaped seat, still holding the paper crane in his hands. ]

This guy's temper sure is something!

[Excuse him, he can't help his tastes. Or choices. Or both. This thing with Shuu just had happened and he was into it too deep before he realized what had happened.

And yeah, he's not going to use that kind of power on Shuu again if he can help it.

Also Shuu, what are you doing, but that thing away.]

That's why I said you should get up.

[And he gives IV a somewhat apologetic look.]

Don't let him bother you.

[ IV has half a mind to throw up a force field in order to detach himself from Shuu, but the need for that soon vanishes. Glowering, he all but jumps onto his feet, and then takes a step or two back to maintain proper distance.

His temper isn't so bad. It just gets worse when people talk about it. ]

Then tell him not to sit on people – or run into them, for that matter!

[ He glances at Senkimaru for a moment, but when IV speaks up again, he turns towards the other man. ]

Huh..? That's odd.. [ Shuu is still bouncing the paper crane from hand to hand, back and forth. ] Aren't you the one who ran into me..? And then you were lying on the ground all comfortable, like a pillow for me to sit on.. was I supposed to say no to that?

[ Except he definitely knew what he was doing back there. For sure. ]

[Who was he? Shuu's babysitter? Actually now that he thinks about it, this is what this has turned into, wasn't it? Still, Senkimaru doesn't feel like watching over Shuu's every single step.]

He's my friend, not a kid I'm keeping an eye on all the time.

[Why can't you stop being so troublesome for him, Shuu.

WHY CAN'T YOU PUT THAT FREAKING PAPER CRANE JUST AWAY?

He let Shuu finish his sentence before he pulls at his arm.]

Why did you get that out anyways?

[With that he means the paper crane, obviously.]

[ The sudden aggression, if slight, causes IV to start, all plans of an immediate retort thrown out the window. Out of faint curiosity – and because attention has been drawn to it now – he gives the paper crane in Shuu's hands a proper look for the first time.

Indeed, it seems strange to have just pulled something like that out for no apparent reason. ]

[ See, Senkimaru can be nice sometimes! Right now he's even denying that Shuu is a kid despite everyone treating him that way because of his age, so this is already getting a lot better for him. Even Senkimaru's protest against his paper crane can't really dampen his spirits at this very moment - although the pull at his arm means he at least has to hold the thing in his other hand or risk dropping it. ]

Well... I guess I thought of making it up to this guy? [ A big fat lie, honestly.

But a moment later he's already holding out his free arm with the paper crane in his hand towards IV, a smile on his face. ]

So-rry for bumping into you, you can have this to make it up to you..

[Making it up to this guy? What kind of making up was that supposed to be? Of course in a usual case, paper cranes were nothing to be afraid of, but in Shuu's special case, they were... well, dangerous.]

You don't need to take it.

[It was more of a warning than anything, really.]

[ He frowns when the paper crane is proffered to him. From the start, he had no intention of accepting anything from this troublemaker. Being advised tries his patience, and IV all but snaps back. ]

I don't want it.

[ His eyebrows furrow deeper, and he turns away in a show of departure with a tch. What is he still doing here? Perhaps he's a little curious. ]

[ Tsk, Senkimaru.. at least he's not fully ruining his fun by telling IV just what that thing is capable of, but of course he still has to be Responsible and all that. What a pain.. Senkimaru's a friend, sure, but he's also a way old man when it comes to stuff like this. ]

What a thankless guy! [ So being mock-offended it is. Not that Shuu is putting a whole lot of effort into it, so his sigh still sounds pretty airy more than truly annoyed. ]

And it was such a su-per special gift too.. humans really don't know what's best for them, after all.

[At least Shuu wasn't trying to push his gift on this guy. It would have been more troublesome than Senkimaru would have liked it - and that really wasn't the kind of trouble he needed.]

I think in this case this guy just knew what was the best for him.
