What: Hirari wants to take Botan out on a date.

[Botan had began to fall into her own sort of daily tasks in this world. She worked every now and then, when she was needed, then she would come home and look after things around the house. Hirari was always in and out but for the most part he stayed close to her, something she didn't mind at all. Besides that she would visit the Kumou family and occasionally invite Kagemitsu and Poko over. Beyond the weird happens every now and then life here was pretty easy going, different in some ways from home of course but nothing bad either.

Having a free day she focuses on doing a little of her laundry as she waits for Hirari to come home. Looking to the clock she moves somethings into the washing machine before she turns it on. It was a rather helpful device. With that done she moves into the living room and sits down to have tea when she hears the door click.]

[ Expect Hirari to be a little bit tipsy, but he's not planning on getting drunk. He wants to be aware so she can enjoy herself.

There's some strange cucumber in it, but the rest was more familiar. Octopus and shrimp wasn't foreign to them, was it? ]

[ He raises his own glass with a smile. ]

I hope it tastes as good as it's pretty.

[Botan really won't get drunk like the others. She will be more than happy to bring him home.

It does look familiar to some degree and does look tasty.]

[Smiling she takes a sip of the wine.]

[ He can get drunk for both of them. Well, he doesn't usually get drunk on purpose, but it happens from time to time.

He smiles right back and takes a taste out of his own glass. It tastes kind of strange, since he's never had it before (just wait until he tries coffee), but it isn't exactly bad. ]

Doesn't taste like sake at all.

[ Not that he knew what he expected it to taste like, but it's the only thing he knows to compare it to. ]

[Drunk or not she was sure they could enjoy herself. She does remember Hirari and Kagemitsu drinking together though, it was quite a sight.

The flavor was very different than sake, it was almost richer...it tasted a little like grapes?]

It doesn't...it is made from something different, I think.

[ Hopefully they'll never end up in a drinking battle of who can drink the most. Both are unwilling to lose to the other after all. ]

Yeah. Do they add grape juice to it?

[ They taste the same thing, though it's more than just adding grape to it. ]

[It would be something she would surely have to intervene with. Neither of them know when to give up.]

Hm...it might be made from it?

[There was a clear grape taste, that was all she could think.]

[ They would both end up with alcohol poisoning or something. They're so blessed that Botan is there for them. ]

I didn't know you could make alcohol out of grapes.

[ It's a curious statement, and it's obvious that he will look into it later on. He likes books. ]

[Botan doesn't need them to die on her...]

It didn't either, it's very good.

[She just chuckles at him before she sets the glass down.]

We should try this food too.

[ No, and that would be a stupid way to die too. Death by stupid. ]

It is.

[ Oh! He had nearly forgotten about the food, kind of distracted by Botan and the wine. ]

Of course.

[Certainly would be a death by stupid competition.]

Yes.

[Picking up the fork, she was getting used to them, she started to gather some before taking a bite. Blinking she can't help but to enjoy the flavor.]

Mmn...this is really good.

[ Hirari has had a bit longer time to get used to the fork, but he much prefers chopsticks still. You can't use one hand when eating with a fork and knife.

Luckily, this dish doesn't seem to involve a lot of cutting, so he will be fine with just the fork. He takes a bite of his own food, and lights up. ]

Yeah, mine too. It really is.

[She is more than thankful for not having to cute a bunch of food. She was more than happy it was good, she is happy his is good as well.

Botan continues to eat some more of her food.]

I'm glad. Would you like to try some of mine?

[She puts some on a fork, curious if he will try it.]

[ He smiles. Being fed by Botan! He nods enthusiastically. ]

I do.

[ He leans forward, and takes her fork into his mouth. When he pulls away again, he chews, feeling the taste in his mouth. ]

It's true, it's really good.

[ He looks between his own plate and her. ]

Do you want to try mine too?

[ Please say yes. ]

[Laughing she put the food close for him to grab a bite. Forks seem to be fine for sharing while chopsticks were now.]

I'm glad you like it!

[She put her fork down before she saw his own. Curious she nods.]

If that's okay?

[ He had finally found something great about forks. ]

Of course you can!

[ He fills his own fork up and lifts for her to eat from, blushing a little about getting to feed her back. ]

[Cheeks red, she leaned in and took the bite before she grabs a little of the food that almost fell.]

Mm...it's good too!

[ He wants to gush at the cuteness of her blush, and smiles brightly at it. She was too cute. ]

Right? I'm glad we came here.

[She was very happy but she wouldn't admit to being cute.]

Me too, it was a very good choice.

[ But she was! She was cute, beautiful, stunning... ]

[ Never! Just honest with his feelings.

He took another bite, nodding. ]

Yeah, I'd be happy to.

[ They're going to go on many more dates. ]

[This date thing wasn't so bad. Though she would be happy to walk around like they did before.

Going to her food she ate some more.]

[The food was too good to waste.]

[ Maybe when it got warmer they could have a picnic date. Walk around, sit outside in the sun and eat.

It really was. He kept looking up at Botan between bites, watching her happy face. ]

[Now that would be lovely, something like that back home would have been wonderful too.

Quiet as she ate she does notice the looks which only make her blush.]

[ It would be. It really is too bad that they have to wait at least 600 years for that to happen.

He gives her fond little smiles, and nearly grins into his wine at how precious her blush is. ]
