"...when did they stick you with the needle? And how long did it take for symptoms to start?"

"We"? You're assuming things. It's true that I'm not a murderer, but I've done my share of wrongs in the past. If he'd just talked about that . . .

[Then he really would have lost it back in the basement.]

[his brow furrows—he almost immediately doesn't like the sound of it. it just seems fishy to him. granted everything seems fishy about it to him, but he hasn't been here long enough to make any sort of informed assessment.]

I don't know much about this place, but something about it... doesn't seem right at all. [he pauses again to consider, and finally, he dismisses his keyblades. one disappears with a flash of light, the other into tufts of darkness. congrats, naoki, you've managed to pry him away from bludgeoning someone with a giant key... for now.]

It is indeed an angry Cthulhu patient they've come across, one with tentacles covering what should be its mouth, gangly limbs longer much longer and lankier than those of a normal human, and more appendages than is probably good for anyone or anything to witness. Her attack thankfully distracts it at least, even causing some actual slicing damage at a limb too getting too close for comfort.

Thankfully, Saiduq has a few appendages of his own.

Metallic wires that seemingly come out of his back dive into the ground near his feet and then pierce through the surface near the alien's own, whipping upwards and constrict the alien's legs in two seconds flat. However, it doesn't seem to be giving up without a bit of a fight, as it flails and struggles against its binds.]
