Normal abilities are important too! I had plenty of superiors who were just great administrators and natural leaders. No amount of magic can replace skill.

This is virtual reality. [ He doesn't know what that is - or rather, didn't before he got to this place - but some of the modern people seem surprisingly accustomed to it, so he figures it's the easiest way to start. It might make this kid go "oh" more easily than it would with Shinpachi himself, honestly. ]

Usually you just have to complete some task and then you're sent right out of it back to the normal world. [ "Normal".. relatively speaking.. ] Or it could be just as easy as finding the exit here.

There's not much to tell. I was born in the colonies, so I suppose in a way that's what I'm used to. But I've spent a lot of time on Earth as well. But those sorts of arrangements, colonies in orbit or terrestrial locations, it can change the politics of a place.

"And we can't just redo this quest. We'll need to get everyone else who took the Truth quest together."

I'm glad to hear it. But... if you ever do need an extra hand, I know we've just met, but I'd be happy to help. [If anyone starts throwing blunt objects at her again? He's not even sure. She just seems like a nice girl who ought to have people to look out for her.]
