Though now really, he's full of questions. Very clearly there's more conversation to be had, but this probably isn't the place for it, in this strange virtual game. So Quatre is quick to nod in agreement.]

... Well, by my count, it's been about nine months. [ it sounds absolutely dreadful when put into a solid number like that; even Zara flinches a little bit. ]

[Especially, he imagines, a strange alien colony with news of world destruction beyond (though he's maintaining a healthy dose of skepticism about that one).] Though... I guess you've probably got the hang of this place at least.

[ He nods, acknowledging that thank you. Handing the medical chart back to Quatre, Tieria commits the man to his memory before turning to leave. Though not before giving the man some forewarning. ]

Be careful of the nurses outside. [ He could leave him a gun but Tieria wants to know how good he is. ]

[He takes the chart, slipping the paper from it and folding it up. He'll find some way to get rid of it completely, and then he's going to get out of here.

A pause at the warning and his eyebrows lift. The nurses?] Right. I'll be sure to.

[He'd rather be done with this game sooner rather than later, after all, so he'll take it to heart.]

[ he understood that far faster than anyone else he's talked to, and for that, Zara is thankful. An easy smile creases his face, and he nods once, approving. ]

... Yes, I suppose I have. As much as one can get the hang of a place like this. Everything is quite unpredictable, and the technology is far beyond me, for the most part...

[ by now, at least, he understands how most of it works in a general sense... except for the ridiculous BS that CERES continues to pull. Then again, those are supposedly "accidents." ]

The reasons they gave for bringing us here... were those what you were given as an explanation too? [That their worlds are gone, destroyed?

He really does not want to believe that, and he is getting a distinctly suspicious feeling about CERES.]

The technology seems impressive. I've never seen virtual reality this realistic

[But he's from space, so it's not that far off from what he's used to.]

Then I guess we'll just have to wait, or figure something else out in the meantime ... [ He's not without hope! ] But I'm sure we'll be able to do something about this eventually!

That's weird. But I guess it isn't hurting anything. But why would they take your, uh, [ what's the word ] code from a different time than mine and Lailah's?

[ He's not really sure what the point is. But it proves a lot about what they said during that powerpoint, about them just being code extracted from their world, or whatever, among other things. ]

[ That gets a bit of a nervous laugh out of him. ]

Yeah, I've seen them. [ Those aliens have startled him a bit so far. ] I'll do my best to stay clear of them. None of them have tried to hurt me yet, but maybe I'm just getting lucky.

What, against CERES? I don't know about an official organization with a name, but there are people here who don't trust the higher ups. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a so-called resistance comprised of members with similar sentiments.

[ With that, Tieria exits the room with a nonchalant wave to Quatre. He'll know how good he is later, as he secretly roots for a fellow Gundam pilot to make it out of the game without much penalty. ]
