But they don't, so unless he's thinking of another method, she's drawing a blank here. Hopefully, they won't have to worry about it getting close enough.]

Maybe? [He's not too sure either but it sure sounded good. He's mostly hoping for a few well-placed kicks and banking on speed to get them far enough ahead. He knows she has a point though and he glances back, too.]
