[ It's not actually a big deal. Everyone Gou knows is well aware of the fact that she can't swim and doesn't like the exertion that comes with exercise. But it still makes her scrunch her nose and groan. ]

If that title follows me around, no one will trust me. I'm supposed to be a swim instructor.

[ Yes, she's well-aware of the irony of being a swim instructor and not being able to swim. It had popped up as a job option and she couldn't refuse.

And her voice might be a bit high and almost whining, but she's a little distressed. ]

All Huma. Seriously. His ears lower, mouth shaping itself into a frown.] How could they never heard of it? You mean they only got huma where they're from? Did they kill all the other kinds?

[But he's distracted from that question by what Zara says next.] That don't make no sense! Bad but better? What do you mean? How's it an improvement??

[But his ears lower at that.] Cats're the worst though. They're the reason for all the bad things! ...Zara ain't so bad. [Guillan admits begrudgingly. He's heard the stories Rath told too, so yeah, Zara could be worse. But he brightens right up at that final name, tail wagging.] Arles is the best though, of anybody.

Yeah? Then good! If they ain't used to fightin' that's good. Even if there are some soldiers in this place, if it's not everybody, we can definitely handle it.

[And even if he can't, if it comes to it, he's going down fighting tooth and claw.

Even Guillan sobers at the next words, a remarkably serious expression on his face.] Mm. It ain't right bein' separated. Wolves are s'posed to be with their packs. [That's the way it works. His ears droop.] But yeah! We gotta make do so we can find 'em and make sure everyone's okay.

[He's not known for his good ideas at all. And his mouth tends to be what gets him into trouble the most -- one way or another.

He's curious about this guy though. There's definitely something weird about him. Interesting though, even if somehow it sets his fur to bristling.]

Calling, huh? What about ya's scariest? [Guillan isn't afraid!! Too tough clearly, or too dumb. Some combination of the two.] Not that it takes a lot to scare Huma especially. [Huma are so squishy and skittish.]

[Probably too little too late, but it's his best attempt. If ViViD were cooperating more, he'd have his gundam right now, and that would put an end to all of this, but alas whatever is going on seems to be making that difficult.

He grips at the rail to the staircase, glancing up again. Another glance towards Pitch to make sure he's faring all right, and there's a wash of fear so strong that it nearly takes his breath away, one hand lifting to his chest as though it physically pains him -- but the blond is at least aware enough to recognize that it isn't his fear, or at least not in its origin.]

Ah... [No okay. A steadying breath. Now is not the time to puzzle that through.] We should probably move quicker. You can get over that, right? I think they're coming down faster now.

I hope you weren't doubting us. [He's teasing... slightly. He's glancing askance at Guillan with his ears lightly cocked in his direction, a faint smile on his lips.]

...no way! [Quick and adamant. No way he'd ever doubt Arles. Though Guillan recognizes that even Arles isn't invincible, so while he knows they'd go out in a blaze of blood and glory, he'd rather survive long enough to take their fight back to Weblin where it belongs.

His tail gives a wag at the reassurance. Arles is good at making him feel better about things.]

[Rei shrugs a little bit helplessly, a half-hearted gesture of uncertainty. She had no idea what the goal was, but she didn't really believe that the Sailor Senshi and the Ginzuisho had been so easily removed. The future that she knew had happened, would happen, and asking her to deny that would be like trying to convince St. Peter that Jesus Christ was not the son of God.]

I can't begin to imagine their motives. They haven't asked anything of us, and they've not really even been openly cruel. They don't lock us up, and they largely seem content with keeping us mollified when if they had more sinister designs imprisonment would be easier.

[Arles chuckles softly at the quick, adamant reply. At least Guillan is here. While he recognises that presents its own unique set of problems with Guillan adapting to this place, it's better than being here alone.]
