[She nods easily enough, and unfolds her scythe to its full, ridiculously large size.]

[Boy it's sure going to be a disappointment when there's nothing waiting for them in that hallway.]

[for the both of them, really. it's probably not the best thing in the world that yuri's actively looking for a fight... but they kind of asked for it.

but hey, if ruby's ready,he's not going to waste much in the way of time. not that it makes much of a difference—the door is unlocked and nobody is even around to take notice.]

Someone really needs to give these guys a lesson in kidnapping etiquette. [he muses, looking around the area. this is so anticlimactic.]

It almost feels like we weren't kidnapped at all, you know?

well, he can appreciate her honestly, at least. he totally understands this sentiment, so it's not like he'd try to argue against it or act like he's not disappointed too. there's no fun in this at all.]

And here I thought maybe I'd work up an appetite with a good fight. Looks like I'm out of luck there, unless we've got some kind of surprise in store. [which... he doubts, honestly.]

[Yeah, she doubts it too, putting away her scythe and wandering around curiously.]

Doesn't this look sort of like an office building? I wonder where we are.

[A moment later she peers through a window and--]

Oh, look, I can see the Shopping District from here, we're not far from things at all!

Guess you'll have to work up an appetite on the walk to the food shops!

Not far kind of seems like an understatement. I'll barely have time to get hungry with how quick we can be there.

[not that he seems all that fussed about it.. it's not even about him anyway. he's kind of doing this for her because watching her eat their provided sandwiches just seemed wrong, anyway.]
