[There's a mildly exasperated sigh, though maybe not for the reason IV would think.]

Sounds about right. I'll have to ask him whenever I find him. [Though it raises a question.] Does this happen a lot? CERES bringing in people from the same world months apart while they're still recovering the code or whatever.

[Why the frustration? Though now that he mentions the time, IV supposes he can understand, if that's the problem.]

Speaking from experience, it happens often enough. There doesn't seem to be a pattern of when someone comes . . . or leaves.

Has anyone ever asked them why they choose when to bring and reject people? There's always a pattern to everything even if it doesn't look like it.

How should I know? I don't know every denizen living in Tellus. If you're so curious, why don't you ask?

[zerotohiro]

If I knew who to ask, don't you think I would? [Jeeze, IV.] As soon as I'm out of here I'll find somebody else who might know.

[rebelia]

[Gosh, that just makes his defensiveness flare.]

You can always ask the higher ups themselves, though I can't guarantee that they'll give you a straight answer.

Have they ever given anybody a straight answer? [That'll determine a lot of things for him.] And who are the higher ups?

[rebelia]

[IV shrugs. He never talks to the higher authorities. All he knows is that they exist.]

There's a new CEO. Her name is Bellona.

[zerotohiro]

How new is new? [He'll find out more from Tadashi later, but it's important to arm himself with that information while it's being offered.]

[rebelia]

She introduced herself about three weeks ago in front of a murder scene.

[IV thinks that last part is important.]

[...well that's great. The look on his face says he's not happy about that, but also he's not too terribly shocked. In a world like this, he'd be surprised if there wasn't some sort of conspiracy here.]

Kinda seems like the opposite way to get people to trust you. She really will speak to us if we ask for a meeting or whatever?

[rebelia]

[Who can be happy about that? Whatever her game is, IV doesn't care for CERES either way. He shrugs.]

She didn't seem to mind talking as long as there was a point. If she's too daunting to go after, try her assistant, Mosley, first.

There's definitely gonna be a point. As soon as I figure out how to get out of here, I'll find a way to get in touch with her. [A beat.] Thanks for the advice.

[rebelia]

It was just a suggestion . . . Don't go rushing in without a thought. You get a lot of time here.

[zerotohiro]

[Just...a smirk in response.] Hey, I like to use my time wisely. It'll be fine. [But since he's stopped dancing he looks back the direction he'd been heading.]

First thing's first though. [He's already starting to walk off.] You comin', or are you staying here?

[rebelia]

Is that an invitation? [Turning away with his shoulder pointed at Hiro, IV gestures to the opposite direction.] It's a shame, but I'm headed this way. Looks like you're going to be on your own – don't go getting stuck by more nurses.

[zerotohiro]

Trust me. They won't see me coming. [But it seems this is where they part ways and he waves over his shoulder before dashing off. Later, IV. He'll probably bother you again someday. Probably.]
