Good, because I don't plan to risk myself trying to cover for a stranger, much less one that can't hold their own.

And just like he said, he starts marking out their first checkpoint in the next (empty) hallway with two of the bandages he procured. Around ten seconds later, there's a newly-made X on the wall. ]

There we go. Too bad there's no map to go with this.

It would be a lot easier with a map, wouldn't it?

[ She can at least mark each area rather easily without any problems, though they'll all be rather low to the ground when marked. But there is stairs. Whether or not it'll lead them to where they need to go, however... ]

Well...considering this doesn't exactly seem like the first floor, I'm assuming we should head downstairs. Or we could explore this floor more.

[ Each course of actions has their pros and cons, but his gut feeling leads him to lean towards going downstairs. ]

I'm guessing the next floor down isn't the basement, so that's probably the best course of action.
