I didn't know there was anyone to around hear it to begin with. [he's grumbling now. it doesn't seem that worth the effort to get worked up when she's been kind of rude about everything to begin with. even if it was significantly better before he copped an attitude, but really... can she blame him? this situation sure is a thing that could make nearly anyone angry.

[Assuming no one is around to listen to it, that is. But she's being nonspecific enough that it could be taken to mean anything, and her attitude isn't helping. She's vaguely aware she should probably... chill. But she's not doing anything about it, because that would be admitting that, hey. This guy has a point, and she's not right. Ugh.
