[Illidan growls and pulls his make shift bandanna off, revealing the gruesome remains if his blackened burnt out sockets, but the sight is soon obscured by the flames that had replaced his eyes, as they grew bright. In a flash energy shot from them, reducing the doctor to nothing but a scorched mark on the ground.

Once the threat was eliminated he he replaced the bandanna over his eyes and turned to Terra, not pleased with his naivete]

Are you such a fool to believe that would stop him? He is an apparition, he shall return shorty.

[Terra can only watch, transfixed. Killing Unversed is one thing, but people... This just reminds him too much of his fight with... His hand tightens on the Keyblade, and it takes a moment for him to register what Illidan was saying.]

[That people (NPCs? he hasn't bothered to learn the terminology) return here is news to him. Apparently he really had no idea that was how ViViD worked. He responds angrily,]

If that's true, that makes killing him even more pointless!

[Illidan crossed his arms and scowled at Terra.]

It stops him temporarily until it returns, at which point I shall hunt it again. Do not show mercy to a foe that would not show the same mercy to you.

But... He was defenceless. Striking down an enemy that can't fight back isn't right.

[...Ignoring the fact that the same doctor had him strapped to a table only minutes ago, but still. Terra was hardly helpless in that situation, so it doesn't matter.]

Do you know nothing of war, boy? Your most dangerous foes are not the ones that brandish weapons on the front lines. They are the ones sit behind a table armed with nothing but a sharp mind.

[He gestures to the room, which while he could not see, had sensed the nature of the place. The scent of blood was thick in the air.]

If this is all just a trick, aren't you falling for it too by playing along?

[It's a weak protest, though, because he has to concede Illidan has a point. Time and again, he's always been outsmarted by those who would seek to use him.]

Until I find the source of this magic, the most I can accomplish is to keep that apparition at bay, so that it does not prey upon the weak minded fools such as yourself.
