No, no, that's not it! [ He should probably explain. ] It's just that ... a lot of my friends aren't human. They're called Seraphim. And where I'm from, humans can't normally see them. [ He's a special case that can, of course, along with various others with the heightened ability to do so. And animals, like dogs, can sense their presence ... But. ] But since you're not human, I'm not really sure where you'd stand with that ...

[ There's no way he could tell how other non-humans from other worlds might interact with the Seraphim, after all. His world only has so many species. If he can sense something like Sorey's "bright light", though, then it's possible he might have some sort of power to see them. He can't tell right now, but he's certainly curious.

[Admittedly, the seraphim he's more familiar with are of the Judeo-Christian variety, but that only makes him more curious as to what kind of Seraphim with a capital S Sorey's used to.]

Well, there should be no harm in trying. I am able to perceive a great many things most humans cannot.

[ That's enough for Sorey then, and it's got his curiosity going — it'd be really great if Saiduq could see them, too! Sorey is always up for others being able to perceive the Seraphim. ]

Haha...I would not have offered in the first place if it were any trouble to me. Admittedly, you've now piqued my curiosity.

[So it's not just for Sorey's sake, he too is genuinely interested in seeing what kind of beings these Seraphim are.

Yeah, I guess that's true. [ He laughs a little. ] And I'm pretty curious, myself. I hope we can find them.

[ He's sure they can, if Saiduq's are here, too. And, if he can interact with them, then Sorey's sure they'll be able to become friends!
