[Open, close, open, close, open, close...no, nothing useful here. He would pry a little more into Kongwai's business, were it not for the fact there seems to be something in the distance...? The noise is a bit faint, however, even for his alien senses. Saiduq pauses, looking up at Kongwai on the file cabinets, wondering if he heard the same thing.]

[ He'd rather not go into more detail, so the apparent distraction is welcome even if he's not sure what's there. Whatever caught Saiduq's attention isn't visible to his eyes. While he may technically be stronger than the average human, that doesn't include enhanced five senses. Since there's no way he'd be able to hear a sound faint for Saiduq at this range, he'll just throw him a questioning look when he realizes he's wordlessly addressing him. ]

[They can thank the multitude of file cabinets in the way, blocking the proper flow of sound waves and whatnot.]

[ How illuminating. Obviously that means it's time to brace himself (more so than usual) for something possibly terrible. At least the ground's not too far from the top of the file cabinets. Even if it does knock him off, he can take a page out of a cat's book and land on his feet. ]
I'll tell you if I see or hear something coming closer.
