Yeah, pretty often.

[There's a pause as she wonders how much she should say. With her world destroyed, no one else would really recognize the Avatar title...not that she deserves it right now anyway. Her world is gone, and she's the only one left. Yeah, some Avatar she is.]

The portals between the material world and the Spirit Worlds were opened recently, so that spirits have been everywhere since then. [Korra shrugs helplessly, looking away.] Or they were before...you know.

[And now it's Jack's turn to pause, this conversation taking a bit of an uncomfortable turn for him. Korra seems to be speaking of the afterlife kind of spirit, not just fae or mythological creatures. Sandy and Pitch are those kind of spirits... but not Jack, with being dead and all, so at the same time? Korra is kinda right.]

...I don't think we're talking about the same thing here. [So he'll gladly take that change of subject.] Before I know... you mean what they said when we arrive?

Yeah, I meant the whole...your world got destroyed announcement they had as soon as you got here. You heard the same thing, didn't you?

[Unfortunately for Jack, Korra doesn't let go of it that easily. She tilts her head to the side.]

So what's different about the spirits you know of?

[A nod followed by a shrug.] Yeah, that's the idea, I guess. I only paid half-attention to it.

[He considers Korra for a moment before finally answering.] I'm speaking of not-human, not-animal creatures here. Elementals, fae. That kind of thing.
