[ She shakes her head. ]

Unfortunately, no. I have been here for a few months now, and I essentially know just as much as any new arrival. Of course, a few things have happened but... It has only made CERES more mysterious.

[unwaverings]

[ That's ... a little concerning. ]

More mysterious, huh ... You've really been here for months and haven't gotten any new information about them? They must be really good at keeping secrets ...

[ And why keep secrets if they're here to help them? Hmmnn ... ]

They are. Many of us have a hard time trusting them, as a result. No matter what happens, we end up being left wondering what's really going on.

[unwaverings]

[ He can understand that. It's not good to be left in the dark, but Sorey has plenty of experience with having to figure things out for himself, so. ]

Then I hope whatever's at the end of this place can help us understand things a little better. If we keep working at it, maybe things'll become clearer.

[ Even though he's just arrived here and has no idea what they're like and what that'll be like. Optimism?! This can't be impossible. ]

I hope so. There's quite a few of us working to find the truth, so I don't believe it's entirely impossible.

[ She thinks they can do it, if everyone works together at least. ]

[ He's glad to hear that! Sorey is all for teamwork, okay. ]

Great! It can't be impossible! [ Optimism strikes again. ] If a bunch of us work together, then I'm sure we'll find it! [ And of course, Sorey is here to help. He's on the truth path, after all. ] And maybe there's a big step waiting for us at the end of this maze!

That's what I hope. I would like some sort of clue.

[ She continues walking along the maze, her hand on the wall to her right. ]

[unwaverings]

[ He nods in agreement to that, and keeps walking for a bit. ]

... There's gotta be an exit soon, right? We didn't miss anything, did we?

[fittedgloves]

I don't believe we missed anything.

[ She pauses as they round a corner, looking down the path. ]

It doesn't look like a dead end. We may find the exit if we continue this way.

[unwaverings]

[ He nods.

And then he'll continue with her down that path, rounding a corner or two until they're on a path that seems to open a lot at the end of it. ]

Hey, do you think that's it?

[fittedgloves]

It may be. There's only one way to find out.

[ Which is to go headfirst into the new area. In the corner of the room, there's a door, and Kyouko points to it. ]

Shall we?

[unwaverings]

[ He nods at that. ] Yeah.

[ And starts making his way over to it, looking around just in case there's some sort of catch. It would be bad to drop his guard now, he thinks. ]

... I hope there aren't any of those monsters behind it.

[ Please just be something good. ]

There's only one way to find out.

[ She opens the door and... It's a dark room with a single chair in the middle. Kyouko takes a cautious step forward, the floor creaking under her. ]

I don't see anything yet. [ But that doesn't mean something isn't hiding in the shadows. ]

[unwaverings]

[ That's kind of a weird set up, but he won't question it much. He'll peek in behind her. ]

... I don't see anything either. But it's dark, so we should be careful. And stick together. [ Since the floor seems to creak a bit, he'll focus on listening the most.

Taking his own cautious step forward to keep close to her just in case. ]

Maybe if you watch the left, and I watch the right ...

[ Kyouko nods, taking careful steps toward the center of the room. What was a chair doing, sitting in the middle like that?

The floor creaks again, this time almost dangerously and Kyouko pauses. ]

It doesn't feel stable in here.

[unwaverings]

[ Sorey will pause too then, wary of that creak. ]

Do you think there's more traps in the floor? [ A pause. ] Or maybe this whole room is a trap ...

[ He wouldn't put it past them!! Just having a chair in the middle of the room is weird on its own. ]

Should we leave?

[fittedgloves]

...It may be for the best.

[ But this is the only lead they've found so far. What if this was the only way to an exit? ]

This might be our only exit, though.

[unwaverings]

[ Hmmm ... Scanning the room again. ]

Then maybe we could throw something further into the room and see if something happens.

[ He'd throw something of his, but he kind of doesn't have anything on him thanks to all of his belongings being taken away for now. Maybe there's a rock somewhere ... ]

[fittedgloves]

[ She nods. ]

Good idea. [ So Kyouko takes a few steps forward, looking for anything they might be able to throw... Before long, she finds a rock and tosses it ahead. It makes a small clunk as it hits the floor. ]

[unwaverings]

[ ... Sorey waits for a moment, but ... nothing really happens thanks to the rock. ]

... I don't see anything. Maybe we're nervous over nothing ...?

[fittedgloves]

We very well may be.

[ So she steps into the room, waiting for a second to see if she activated any sort of trap. Nothing happens, and she turns back to Sorey. ]

It should be safe to come in.
