The fact that Masaoka was dead was a shock all on its own. Kagari hasn't been too keen to ask about many specific details of how things went on after his death. It might not matter as much now, with the whole world destroyed, but he felt the loss of someone he actually knew and liked hurt much more.]

[There was no reason why Masaoka shouldn't have been able to get out of there. But Ginoza had accepted that he did what he thought he should as a father, but it was still something he blamed himself for as well.]
We had another case not long ago, it was just as difficult if not more dangerous than dealing with Makashima.
